Chapter 7 The Scar

It was the familiar dissecting table as well as the familiar man.

"How could it be you? How could it be you?"

Winston's hands were shaking so badly that it took several attempts to open the bag containing me.

When the bag was opened, there was a wave of cold air that came out.

Winston didn't care so much. He came closer to try to see my features.

But my face was covered with a hideous scar, making it impossible for him to see clearly.

As if he thought of something, he quickly shifted his sight to my belly.

A hideous scar showed on my belly.

Winston looked at those scars a little bit but eventually landed on a not-so-impressive one.

It was an old scar, a wound that was no more than 2 inches in length, with traces of stitches.

I got that scar when Winston and I were dating four years ago.

At that time, Winston took over a case. He was responsible for the test.

The murderer was a vicious man. He wanted to die with Winston before he was caught.
