2023, The Kingdom of Rimore

Nevea watched as the majestic building with a Devil’s Den written on top of it shone brightly in the deep of the night. She gripped the knife and gun on her thigh tightly. Tonight was just like any other night. She would be killing another living being.

She had been staying in Vlassta for nineteen years, after which she started working as their killing machine for almost five years. All the training she had endured over the years resulted in high scores, making her the perfect tool for Vlassta.

The heavy wind swayed her long silver hair, and she felt her body shiver as her outfit was thinner. She wore a backless black dress with a noddle strap on her shoulder. These were not her usual working clothes, but since the man on her killing list usually camped in a bar, she had no choice but to blend in.

“Are you ready?” A man with blue eyes like hers asked. His blonde hair was styled nicely to a sliced back.

“That should be my line, Rave.” Nevea grinned at Raven.

Raven was human too. They bonded during their time in the academy. Like her, Raven had a hard time adjusting to the intense pressure to kill for life. Nevea remembered that both of them froze on the spot during their first kill and then dropped to the ground to cry.

As time passed and seasons changed, they grew braver. However, Raven was softer-hearted than her. That was why Nevea was drawn to him. The kindness in him made her want to be infected by it. With Raven, she felt that the angel had not left her side.

“Okay, let’s get in and kill this Allen guy.”

Raven walked first, and Nevea followed behind him.

The loud music instantly assaulted their senses when they entered, and the lightning was hurting their eyes.

“We have to split. Remember to call when you are cornered, okay?” Raven touched Nevea’s shoulder as he asked, and Nevea nodded in response.

“See you soon, Rave. And don’t die.” Nevea patted his back and then took a step away from him.

A man with black hair almost touching his shoulder on the second floor watched Nevea and Raven’s interaction in disgust. His red eyes were glowing like a burning flame. Even when Nevea and Raven had gone on their own path, his eyes never stopped following the woman.

The man was Zach. This was his first time seeing the little girl since the massacre in the orphanage. Although her face was almost blurry in his mind, her smell stayed in his mind like permanent ink.

He was glad he decided not to ask about her after the whole cell problem. Seeing that she had grown into what he wanted made the wait feel more worth it. “My little girl,” He uttered in the crowd.

Zach made his way to the first floor and tailed her.

Nevea was unaware that a very dangerous being was following every move she made. She was too focused on the bald vampire in front of her. He was her target. Allen.

Allen was the most wanted in Vlassta. He was alleged to be the leader of the Bloody movement organizing the movement against Vlassta, as they kept making rogue vampires to use during combat.

Up until now, their hatred toward Vlassta was unknown. All they did was attack the hunter without doing anything else. So, she would torture Allen and force him to speak the truth next.

Allen walked to the very back of the bar, where no one was interested. But then, he suddenly turned his head and looked straight into Nevea’s blue eyes.

“What do you want?” Allen barked at her like a mad dog.

Nevea smiled sweetly and battled her eyelashes coquettishly. “Sorry, I tend to follow anyone whom I find handsome.”

Zach, who hid behind the pillar, chuckled. “Interesting, little girl.”

Allen’s expression changed instantly. And he stepped closer to her. His eyes brimming with lust as he took in her appearance, which looked innocent yet sexy at the same time.

“Come here,” Allen instructed. He extended his hand and took her slender arms.

Allen inhaled her delicious scent, which instantly made him hard. Today indeed was his lucky day. Meeting a high-quality meal like her was like a once-in-blue-moon occasion.

“You are tickling me,” Nevea whispered in his ears. Her hand wandered in his body, checking whether the man was armed.

Nevea’s gentle touch only aroused Allen even more. He pressed his body to her, making her feel the hardness on the lower part of his body. “Do you feel it?” Allen asked while groping every curve on her body.

“Hmm, it’s quite big,” Nevea answered. She rolled her eyes. It was not big at all; it was as small as her thumb.

Zach looked at the two of them with an inferno in his eyes. He wanted to tear him into pieces for daring to touch his little girl. But he held back.  Zach would have to break his bone if the ugly man tried to wander more than where it was.

“Have someone told you that you smell sweet as peaches?”

“Hmm, you are first.” Nevea matched his rhythm to rub her body with his. To be frank, she felt disgusted, but this was her duty.

Allen grunted as he stopped moving against her. He had to focus as his mission was more important than this woman’s pussy. “I want to have you right now, baby. But unfortunately, I have an important mission.”

Nevea did not let go of Allen’s hand. Instead, she changed her expression to one of a pitiful woman that always worked on a man like Allen. “Can’t you stay? Not even ten minutes?” Her voice raised a bit to give the impression of cute.

Zach held back from laughing several times tonight just because of Nevea’s acting.

“No can do, baby.” Allen’s heart wanted to stay as the temptation was too hard to resist. “How about you wait for me here, and I’ll come back to you in thirty minutes.”

Nevea gave up. This Allen was a bit stubborn. She would have to use violence when he turned his back.

“Okay, see you soon.”

“Tell me your name, baby.”

“Alisa,” Nevea said.

“Pretty name for someone as pretty as you. I am Allen.”

“Allen,” His name rolled smoothly from her mouth, which made Allen grin like a fool.

Allen grabbed the back of Nevea’s neck and leaned closer, wanting to plant a kiss on her lips. But before he could do that, he felt the pain in her fingers spreading onto his body like a virus.

“What’s wrong?” Nevea was studying his reaction. Allen was in pure agony, and Nevea had an illusion that she could hear the bones in his body breaking one by one slowly. “Allen, what happened?” Allen’s face contorted in a fury. He lifted his finger with difficulty and spoke, “What the fuck are you? What did you do to me? And Who sent you?” Nevea stepped closer, “I did not do anything. I don’t know what is happening. Tell me, I am scared.” She faked her reaction perfectly. Crack~ The bones in his calves cracked like crackers, followed by the bone in his foot. “Argh, stop it!” Allen’s scream of anguish was eaten by the drumming music at the bar. “I don’t know.” Nevea looked around to see if there was a third party between them. Yet she could not detect anyone near her. “Stop it, or I will fucking kill you, bitch!” Nevea eyed Allen’s pathetic condition. Then, she strode to him and stepped on his broken calf without an ounce of remorse. “Don’t call me bitch, fucker.” Her voice dr

The reason had left Zach's mind when his lips landed on Nevea’s soft and luscious one. What started as fun turned into a heated one. He moved his lips hungrily like a beast. He took her lower lips in between his and nibbed them until she let out a whimpering sound. For the first few seconds, Nevea rejected his advance as she kept punching his hard chest, yet he pinned her hands to the wall and started playing with her lips as pleased. As his lips moved against her, Nevea was compelled to give in. Zach’s mouth curled into a satisfied grin as he felt her melt into him. Then, as there was no sign of struggle, he set her hands free and placed his hand on her waist. He could feel the passion building between them, and it only made him want to taste her more, feel her, and consume her. Nevea felt his hand run through her hair, pulling her closer to him as he deepened the kiss. Nevea’s hand moved subconsciously to touch the lock of his hair, harshly tucked it hard until he winced and opene

Nevea took Raven to Vlassta’s infirmary. He had lost consciousness a while ago, so she dragged him with her with a lot of effort. Soon they arrived at the room with a metal wall and several small beds positioned in line with a bone-white curtain separating each bed. In the center of the room was a man with blonde hair wearing a white coat with a stethoscope circling his neck. He was facing the window, seeming engrossed in watching the giant tree outside the building. Nevea knocked on the door softly, making the man look at him. “I am sorry to bother you, Dr. Dixon, but Raven needs help.” Nevea pointed at Raven with her head. Dr. Robert Dixon was a doctor in Vlassta for as long as she could remember. He was a vampire with the appearance of a forty-year-old man. The vampire walked closer and observed Raven closely. “What happened to him?” Robert asked while helping Nevea to take Raven into the nearest bed. “Mission fails, and we meet a strong unregistered vampire,” Nevea replied sho

“All of you, please give it to me.”Nevea’s blue eyes grew larger, and her jaw dropped. She took a step back, “What?”“You’ve seen those kinds of books, and I want to do everything with you,” Zach said with a serious tone. He clasped her hands before she could widen their gap. “I want to touch your skin, feeling every inch of it with my mouth and tongue.” Zach’s eyes trailed all over her body.Nevea’s body trembled, not out of fear but something more potent and primal that she could not understand. “Zach…” She said as she leaned into his body.Zach’s index finger started wandering from her neck gently until it reached above the swell of her bosom. His golden eyes flickered with a dark glint. “I’ve been wondering how it would feel to touch one of your mounds.” He pocked her bosom lightly, which earned a beautiful moan from Nevea. A grin slipped from his mouth as her body responded to his touch as he wanted.“Haa….” Nevea gasped. Her eyes were glammed with passion. Zach’s touch was like

And Nevea jumped from her sleep. “Haaa…haaa…haaa….” Nevea's breath was laboring. Although her mind was muddled, she could remember every single thing clearly. She dreamed of Zach, not just an ordinary dream where she killed him. Instead, she had a real love-making dream with him. If that was not insane, Nevea did not know what it was. Nevea lifted the blanket from her body and stood up. She could feel the dampness on her panties, which proved that she had indeed experienced a wild activity with Zach in her mind. Her palm covered her mouth as disbelief washed over her. "Shit, I must be crazy." She cursed repeatedly and slapped her cheek hard until it left a red mark. She eyed her bed for a while before deciding to remove the bedsheet hastily as if she was afraid that someone else would be able to know her shameful act in the dreamland. Nevea cleaned her bed and herself to wash all the traces of her dream. After ensuring that everything was new, she heaved a sigh of relief. She

Zach sauntered his way up to the throne and sat down without caring about anything. He sat with his legs crossed and his elbow propped up on the arm of the throne. His face lacked interest, seeming bored with everything. He waited for Silas and Levi to come and offer their greeting. It hadn't even been a minute, but he could immediately make out the sound of his subjects sprinting toward his direction. "How I miss hearing this kind of sound." He spoke. In the past, it elevated him to witness his subjects run like mad people just to reach him. The entrance to the throne room cracked with a loud sound. Silas and Levi appeared in their disheveled state. Being a half-vampire was far different from being pureblood like him. While Zach could move thrice to ten-fold faster than the normal pureblood, the half-vampire still had to exert significant physical effort."Your Majesty," Levi and Silas said and immediately bowed before Zach. Their heads touched the cold floor. However, even after min

Nevea's breathing grew heavier as she stood in front of a metal door with the name of dr. Sara Reyes at the side of the door. She hated visiting Sara's office the most; it brought so many bad memories from her childhood. In the past, she was forced to sit in that damned office. Sara examined her over and over again until she was deemed to be okay to enter Vlassta. There never had physical pain, but the trauma was rooted in her mind like superglue. 'Sleep, Nevea, and everything you saw in the orphanage.' was the most used sentence from Sara. Every day for almost a month, she was coerced to witness that massacre and narrated it to Sara afterward. And during that time, Nevea's story never changed, not even when Sara took her hypnotism to a different level, which made her watch all the people who died because of her. She passed all the mental torture from Sara with the highest grade. Later she found out that most of the people who enrolled in the academy went through the same thing. The

After Nevea's last meeting with Sara, everything went well in her life. She enjoyed her mundane routine. Today was supposed to be the day Vlassta announced the group for the annual test. That was why hunters with experience of fewer than ten years gathered in the hallway, facing the big screen hanging on the wall. "I have a bad feeling," Lola whispered to her. Ever since Cristy and Nevea's confrontation, wariness never left Lola, even for a second. Nevea pinched Lola's arm playfully. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen." She turned her head in Raven's direction and smiled at him as she knew Raven was also worried about her. "But I—" Lola's words were cut short by the crowd's loud shout of cheer and annoyance. The screen had changed from pitch black to white, showing a list of names. There were ten different groups, and Nevea fell into group B with Cristy and Ryan. While Lola was in group E along with Raven and someone she had never heard of. Below the group name was the location for

That should be enough to make Zach busy. “What about Vlassta, Master?”“Release our warrior.” “Understood, Master.”***Nevea, Zach, and Vlassta moved inside the forest from different sides. "Everything has been settled, Master." Gio talked while sitting far away from his master. "Have you found out about the other fairy?" "Unfortunately, I can't find anything, Master."Efrain, the master, waved his hand in the air producing a strong wind that went in Gio's direction. The wind managed to slice the skin on Gio's cheek, yet his loyal servant did not budge from his seat. Gio received the punishment willingly since he was not capable enough. Gathering all his power, Raven changed his position to sit and face Nevea directly. He watched her intently like a fool in love. Oh, right. He was indeed a fool in love. It felt like years since the last time he saw her. So against his better judgment, Raven extended his hand to reach for her and feel her cheek against his skin. The warmth made Raven’s smile bloom even more. After their talk, Nevea and Zach spend their time searching for a clue by hanging out in the library. First, they read each book that contains demons and fairies. But, all the information they got was far from what they had experienced. When they read the history of demons, it is always related closely to hell and another sort of religion. And about fairies, it was just a story of a bunch of cute little things. What they read was pretty much useless. Not even once they mentioned purity. Kindness was there, but the ridiculous rule about desire was not mentioned. At this point, they were desperate. There was no way of knowing if these things unless they got all the puzzles inside their head. Kiara was out of options because that woman literally ceased from earth. Not only Kiara but Jude also went missing. There was no trace of Gio either. “What about your human friend?”“Raven? There has been no reply until today.”“Your friend is useless. So, he began looking for a clue. “You’ve been staring at dr. Dixon for too long. Are you changing your preference after Nevea’s rejection?” Lola asked as she chewed her food. She had realized Raben’s strange gaze towards Robert since yesterday. At first, she thought that maybe Raven had something to discuss with Robert, but after seeing the intensity of Raven’s stare, Lola was not sure anymore that Raven wanted to consult with Robert. “Nonsense.”“Then why are you looking at him like that? As if everything was not enough. A sudden mass of vampires came from each side of the corner, surrounding Nevea and Zach. He looked at Nevea, who had lost half of her consciousness while battling with her pain. He caressed her hair softly and then murmured. "I'll be back."After saying that, Zach immediately went into a complete killing machine. He slayed each vampire that tried to get close to him or Nevea. He brutally killed them without battling an eye. He smiled each time he ripped the vampire's head from its body. Despite the heavy scent of blood and the loud echo of their cry, Zach found that it brought him a sense of peace. It was like this is how it was supposed to be. Him killing everyone without mercy. "Where is their final destination?" Zach inquired while scanning the whole area again. "We will bring them to another container in Grouver." "Drive normally, and we will be right behind you."Jude obeyed. Once again, Zach and Nevea drove in silence. They followed the big truck that brought twenty new vampires to Grouver. The snippet of Robert and Gio's conversation still left a bad taste in Zach's mouth. He wondered who their master was because the master seemed to know a lot more than Kiara. Zach believed it would be good to meet face-to-face with the so-called master. "Do you think we should tell Logan about Robert?" Nevea probed the question that had been bugging her for a while

They are going to perform another transforming process today in Stormsire.” “How did you know that?”“I have my way.”The rest of the journey was spent in silence. Nevea didn’t bother to dig further into Zach’s informant and kept his mouth shut for the whole ride. Seeming not wanting to talk with her for even a second. When they passed the gate, the familiar views greeted them.Unlike the first time she visited, it was pouring hard this time, making the busy road turn silent. Only a few were wandering outside. Their car came to a halt in front of the bar. Zach’s elbow rested on the car’s window while his other hand gripped the steering wheel. H
