Chapter 6

Author's POV

Elena was pouting sadly in front of the closed door.

"The park is off today, dear," Robert said to her.

Hearing this Elena becomes sad. She wanted to play in the park.

"Then what should we do now? I don't want to go home now" Elena pouted sadly.

"Then should we visit the beach, dear?" Robert asked her.

"Sea. Are you talking about sea beach?" Elena asked him being so excited.

"Yes, dear. Do you want to visit the sea beach?" Robert asked her.

"Yes," Elena said and clapped her hands being so excited.

Robert chuckled seeing it.

"Let's go then," Robert said to her.

Elena nodded then they left from there.

And on the other side

Nancy and Linda were sitting in the living room.

"Mom, where is Dad?" Linda asked her.

"Office. He had a meeting" Nancy said to her.

"Mom, I wanted to ask something," Linda said to her.

"Yeah. Ask" Nancy said to her

"Why did you guys adopt Elena, when neither you nor Dad likes her?" Linda asked her.

"Neither I nor your dad adopted her. Your grandfather did this. One night your grandfather and your daddy were coming home from the office when they saw a little girl lying on the sea beach. She was badly injured and bleeding. They admitted her to the hospital. After four back-to-back operations, they managed the save the girl but she lost her memories and mental ability. After ten months the girl opens her eyes. When your grandfather comes to know she has no one in this world. He decided to adopt her. Your dad was against it but your grandfather did not listen to anyone and he adopted her. After adopting her your dad tried to leave her in the orphanage but your grandfather made a will. He gives his 30 percent of the property in her name. After this, your dad stop trying" Nancy said

"This bitch is nothing but trouble from the beginning for us," Linda said with anger.

"You are right. As much as we wanted to rid of her we could not do it. We need her shares. We can not let her take the shares with her" Nancy said

"Mom, about the medicines. Will, she ever get her mental ability back?" Linda asked her.

"There is no way, she will get back her mental ability," Nancy said

"Mom, why did allow the Roberts here? That man always took her out. I do not like this man. He always looks at us like we are some criminal" Linda said to her

"Your dad did not give him the right to come here. Your grandfather did" Nancy said

"I see. But still how long do we need to tolerate this person?' Linda asked her mom

"Until we rid of this bitch" Jackson said from the back.

"Dad, how was the meeting?" Linda asked him

"The meeting is good. Did Robert come back?" Jackson asked

"No," Nancy said

"Dad, did you find any illiterate person for her?" Linda asked him.

"Not yet. Come as the meeting is successful, tomorrow night I have arranged a party. I have invited all the businessmen of this country. Hope I will find a way to the party. And, some businessmen do illegal work. I am sure this bitch will be useful for them. Eden will accompany us tomorrow night" Jackson said

"Dad, are you serious? Do you want to tag along with this mad woman with us? She will make us embarrassed. Did you forget the last time incident?" Linda asked him

"I know and I understand what you are trying to say, baby. But we do not have any other option. Also, the party is important for you as well. You need to use your charms" Jackson said to her.

"Dad, will the superstar come?" Linda asked him.

"Are you talking about Ryan Stone Knight?" Jackson asked her.

"Yes. Will he come?" Linda asked him with so much excitement

"I am not sure about it. He hardly attends any party. And he is beyond our reach. Do not think about him. Although I have sent a special invitation to him I am not sure about his coming" Jackson said making her sad.

"But Dad, you should go there personally to invite him," Linda said to him.

"Me!" Jackson said and laugh

"People need to make an appointment before one month to meet him. I have already told you he is beyond our reach. Do not think about him. And he is no longer the actor. He is a dominating businessman now. Now he only knows the language of business" Jack said to her.

Linda nodded sadly after hearing it

"What do you want to tell Robert?" Nancy asked him

"I will tell him about her marriage," Jackson said.

"Honey, do not take me wrong, but I do not think Robert will agree with you about this. He will never let you marry her off with any man for business" Nancy said to her.

"Of course, he will try to stop me but I have my ways. Linda goes to your room. I have to discuss something with your mom" Jackson said to her.

Linda nodded and left from there.

And on the other side

Ryan was sitting on a bench near the sea. His face was covered by a mask and a cap on his head.

When Robert and Eden reached there.

Robert sat down on a bench and spoke up," Baby, go enjoy but don't go too far"

"Thank you," Elena said and ran from there.

Elena picked up some small pebbles and started throwing them in the water.

When the cold air touches her face she laughs.

Ryan was crooning his song when he heard the angelic laugh. Ryan smiled thinking this he was dreaming.

After throwing the all pebbles, Elena turned back when her eyes fell on Ryan.

Elena kept looking at him like she was examining him. He looks so familiar to her.

Elena started taking little steps towards him.

When she reached there, she bent down on his face. Their faces were one inch apart from each other.

Elena's eyes lit up with happiness when she recognized the face.

"Prince" Elena whispered

When Ryan felt a soft breath on his face and a soft tone, he opened his eyes and was shocked to see a face in front of him.

Ryan kept looking at her with shock. Her deep blue were sparkling with happiness. Innocence was clearly shown up on her face yet Ryan feels a childish impression on her face.

Elena raised her hand and started moving it towards his face. Ryan saw her hands. His mind shouts at him to stop her but he keeps looking at her.

Elena poked his cheek softly and giggled.

"The same angelic tone," Ryan thought

"Prince" Elena whispered

Ryan understood she was his fan.

"You came. But where is the white horse?" Elena asked him cutely

"White horse!" Ryan whispered bewitched by her

He can understand the Prince thing. As he did a Prince role in some movies but a white horse!

Before Ryan said anything Robert came there and held Elena's hand and moved back.

"I am sorry sir, if my daughter did something wrong," Robert said.

"Uncle, look my prince come for me," Elena said happily.

Ryan stood up and removed his sunglasses and then his cap. Robert looked at him with shock.

"Baby, he is not your prince," Robert said to her.

"You are not my prince?" Elena turned and asked him.

Ryan looked at the beauty with wonder.

"Why is she behaving like a kid?" Ryan was so confused.

"Sorry, sir. She saw your prince movie and thought you were his prince. She is so obsessed with Prince" Robert said to him.

"It's okay," Ryan said still looking at her.

"Baby, let's go. We have to go home now" Robert said

"But prince?" Elena asked about him.

Robert gave him an apology look and spoke up, "He will come after some time with the white horse"

Elena looked at Ryan and spoke up, "I will wait for you"

Saying this Elena kissed Ryan's cheek making him beyond shock. Robert got frozen in his place.

Before Ryan came out from the shock, Robert held Elena's hand and left from there...
