The Argon pack's Alpha

CHAPTER SIX

After the attack on the Argon pack, Alpha Cedric's pack, He ordered more soldiers to protect and stand guard at the border. Losing some members of his pack devastated him.

Cedric sat in his room as he thought of ways to become the supreme Alpha. He has always thought that he was strong enough to be the supreme Alpha. He might not have the strongest werewolves pack, but if he could get Aaron's pack and also have his in addition, he will be more than worthy to be the supreme Alpha. The supreme Alpha has to be someone strong and not afraid to take some necessary decisions even if they will cost lives. There was no other Alpha that could take decisions like him, he thought.

He always thought Aaron was full of himself, especially in their last meeting. The soldiers he sent to assist them were almost at his pack. He didn't want to accept help, but this might be a way for him to ask questions about Aaron from his soldiers. He knows no werewolf would talk against their Alpha but he would try. Some Alphas think Aaron is the perfect person to be the supreme Alpha, while some of them are on his side. He needed to have the whole council on his side, especially Alpha Ash, who was the oldest of all the Alphas and the head of the council of werewolves.

If he has all these people on his side, he would be able to convince them to have a vote of who would be the supreme Alpha. Since he would have all of them on his side, they'd vote for him. He knew it would be difficult for all of them to support him, but he would find a way around it.

Cedric was still deep in his thoughts when a pair of hands began rubbing on his shoulders. It was his mate, Cleo.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked as she straddled him.

Cedric smiled as he looked at her breasts that were pushed up in her blouse.

I wasn't thinking about something important, but now I am. I am thinking about you, he said to her.

She undid the buttons holding on to her blouse and let the arms of her blouse fall freely. 

Her bare breasts were in front of Cedric, and he took one of her nipples in his mouth while his hands played with the other one. 

They were both enjoying the moment. His hand went down to pull her skirt up when they heard a sudden knock on the door. Cleo didn't want Cedric to stop, so she held tightly to his head on her chest.

Cedric gently let go of her and pushed her off him.

He mouthed sorry as he walked towards the door.

He opened the door and standing in front of the door was his Beta.

"The people you requested to see for the meeting are waiting for you" his beta said to him. 

I'll join you now, Cedric said to him as he closed the door.

Cleo didn't have a happy look on her face as she stared at Cedric.

"I can't do this anymore, Cedric," she said to him. We'll be in the middle of making love together or about to make love and you'll leave for a meeting or one stupid thing, leaving me alone.

Cedric didn't say anything to her as he got dressed to go for the meeting.

She stood up from the bed and walked to where he stood.

You're not going to say anything? She asked him. You're so obsessed about this ambition to be the supreme Alpha and you're neglecting me, you're neglecting what we have together.

Cedric turned to look at his mate and he held her by her shoulders.

"Cleo, we will have this conversation later. I promise you, everything will be fine." He said to her and then placed a kiss on her forehead.

Cedric walked out of the room and walked to the venue where the meeting would be held. He had told his beta to gather some people who he trusted in his pack to help him in becoming the supreme Alpha.

He opened the door to the room and found five men already seated in the room. They all stood up as he walked in.

He sat down on the chair reserved for him, and the others sat down also.

"This will be a very short meeting" he began talking. I don't want people to know about this gathering and whatever we say should remain here, no one should speak about it outside this room or wherever we'll have our subsequent meetings. It should remain among all six of us. Understood? He asked them. They all nodded their heads.

Alpha Aaron's men will soon be here. Once they arrive, I want you to monitor them and listen to every word they say and watch everything they do. I want you to report them to me. You all know I'm on a quest to become the supreme Alpha and the only way to become the supreme Alpha is when Aaron is out of the picture. He is the only one holding and stopping me from becoming what I should be. I suppose every one in this room agrees that I am the most worthy person to be the supreme Alpha.

For the meantime, you should just monitor them when they arrive and pass information to me. I'll discuss with you later on any other thing you have to do. He said this and stood up. Everyone else stood up and quietly left the room, one after the other, leaving Cedric and his beta alone in the room.

Can I trust these men? Cedric asked his beta. I don't want people who will betray me and go behind my back to plan against me. This is a confidential plan and not anyone should be aware of this. I hope you considered all these before you chose these men? Cedric asked him.

"Yes, I did," he answered. You can trust them, I give you my words.

Cedric nodded his head and walked out of the room with his Beta.

They attended other meetings that were necessary before Cedric went back to his room.

His mate was already asleep on the bed. He changed into his night clothes before I joined her on the bed.

Aaron was thinking about his conversation with Luli as he walked back to his room. It was already late in the night. Some of the pack members were still outside and the little children that still played outside were being ushered into the house by their mothers.

He decided to walk to the dungeon where the witch was to talk to him.

He walked past the guards that were on standby and walked towards the cell where the witch was.

Are you awake? He asked as he stood in front of the cell.

The man behind the cell walked towards where Aaron was standing and stood a few steps away from him.

"You already have questions to ask me?" The man said as he looked at Aaron.

I am a bit overwhelmed by everything and all the Enlightened one has said to me. Aaron said to the man.

I don't know what she wants me to do. I'm trying to understand what I have to do to help the world or fight the evil that will befall the world. I don't even understand why you are here also. I know I need guidance, but for what? I have so many thoughts in my head, Aaron said to the man as he took a deep breath.

I do not have the answers to your questions, the man said. But I know someone that has the answers to your questions, the Enlightened one. You know she can answer your questions, you just have to ask her. Goodnight. The man said to Aaron as he went back to where he was laying down.

Aaron left the dungeon and walked back to his room. As he walked back to his room, he decided not to worry himself too much about the Visions. He'd ask the Enlightened one and let her guide him.

He got to his room and laid on the bed. He hoped to sleep well tonight as he hasn't had a good sleep these past few days.

Celine walked back to her tent after staying a while under the tree. She stayed under the tree a little longer after Aaron left. She was looking at the moon, they reminded her of her home. She always used to stay up late at night to look at the moon every night. She felt a connection with the moon as it always made her calm and gave her a feeling of peace.

As she walked back to her tent, her footsteps could be heard as everywhere was dead silent.

She got into her tent and laid on the bed, she was tired.

A part of her wanted the dream to continue as she slept, while another part just wanted to sleep.

She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

This time, she didn't Continue the vision, but she dreamt of her home while she was little. Her mom was brushing her hair and was singing a song for her. It was a song she loved, the song compared her beauty to that of the moon. Her mom suddenly stopped singing and started telling her about her mate.

"Your mate will be a strong man, Celine," her mother said to her. You'll meet in the most unexpected way, when the world needs the both of you. You should stay with him no matter what, and be loyal to him. You'll both save the world. Her mother said to her.

Celine was smiling in her sleep as she dreamt.

The next morning, she came out of her tent and walked round the camp looking for Aaron or for anything she could do. She was feeling stronger now and could feel the energy of her powers. She couldn't find Aaron, but she saw a tent that some injured soldiers stood in front of. It looked like they were getting treated there. She had healing powers. She walked into the tent to assist them. As she passed by the soldiers and the people present, they all happily greeted her like they knew her already. Maybe Aaron told them to be nice to her.

She entered the tent and saw two women who looked very overwhelmed with work.

Before she said anything, one of the women spoke to her.

"Bring that bowl of water" the woman said to her, pointing at a bowl of water on a table.

She picked up the bowl of water and walked towards the woman to give it to her.

"Can I help you in any way?" Celine said. I'm pretty good at healing.

The woman nodded her head as she spoke. "Alpha Aaron already told me about you and that you were a witch." We'd appreciate the help.

Celine nodded her head and began to walk. She happily attended to some soldiers. 

Werewolves were supposed to heal on their own but they were all losing their Powers to the greater evil. It was sucking them dry.

Celine was happy that she had her healing powers to help the soldiers and the children that were brought to her.

Aaron stood at a distance from the tent that Celine was in. He stared at her and thought of what she was telling him last night.

SOMEWHERE IN A CAVE…

Someone walked into the cave, making the person in the cave stop what she was doing.

"It's Aaron" the person that walked in said. The Alpha of the Lumiere pack, he's the Supreme Alpha.

"I know," the person in the cave replied. I've seen it, the Enlightened one is already speaking to him. We need to act fast before he starts to spoil our plans. It's almost time.
