Chapter 72

Bruce walked into the mansion with wide strides and met Cassidy in the living room. He nodded perfunctorily at her and continued up the flight of stairs to his Young Master’s study.

He knocked and opened the door as Ethan responded.

“Good evening, Young Master,” he greeted with his head bowed as he got ready for the questioning.

“Where were you, Bruce? I was informed that you took your personal car as soon as you left.”

Ethan raised his eyes from the files on his desk and pinned Bruce with a deep gaze.

“I had no intention of activating the tracker because I knew you would tell me yourself… so?”

“Yes, Young Master. I… went to the Young Mistress’s school.”

Bruce was aware his Young Master was even more paranoid now that he believed the Young Mistress had left him for Young Master Davenport.

Ethan’s eyes narrowed at the mention of Jane, it seemed she had taken the loyalty of even his right hand and he hated that he felt powerless against that because it was his fault.

“School? What for?
