Trap in the closet

The next day Jordan arrived from his business trip .He went to see Allina, Martha said she never came down for breakfast and she never answered when she was called. Jordan heart was beating faster he hasn't checked on her this morning he was afraid if she did succeed in escaping.

When he opened the door he saw her covered with blanket from head to toe. He went nearer she  was shivering he touch her and realized that she had high. fever and her foot is bleeding. Heart pounding he quickly call the Doctor, cover her with more blankets. After a while her shivering lessen . Jordan felt guilty for putting the girl in this situation may be it's better to come clean with her and ask for help instead of making demands.

The doctor said that her wound got infected when the stitches were burst open.

" Not to worry Jordan she just need to rest that foot and a lot of Tender loving care. Avoid to much action and exerting effort on that foot. The doctor smile, He is the family doctor and was aware of Jordan' playfulnes.

" He must have thought I overworked my wife, If he knows that she hurt her foot trying to escape I will be in big trouble." He thought.

When she wakes up she wondered where she is. then the pain in her foot remind her of where she is and in what predicament she is.Just as the door openned and showed Jordan wheeled by Hugh bringging a tray of food.

"Here you are breakfast in bed. He was smiling to Alina. While Alina when into fighting mood righ after she saw Jordan.

"But I thhought you said you dont serve breakfast in bed? She said sarcastically

" I will have to make exception for my beautiful fiesty wife." Alina's hackles rises beautiful was very much understandable but fiesty who ever made her fiesty but that man on the wheel chair she gave him a sharp stabbing gaze.

"You will know who is feisty when i'm done with you." she was thinking silently then added.

"Why does setting me free also comes with the exception?" She teases.

"Of course!" Alina take a double turn hopeful.

" Really?" She was very hopeful and happiness dance dance inher eyes. But his reply crash her hope..

"Yes! most of the women will probably linger to be more closer to me so I send then away. But you are the exception as my wife you have to stay with me and I don't have a choice." Her eyes widen as i fire was oozing from her eyes and ears.

"You beast! You compare me to your women and give me the exception when all you have done was tricked me into marrying you! " She cannot contain her anger and pick the first thing that she was able to get hold of, in this case a glass of water.

"Oh no! Alina it will hurt...." He didn't finished his warning when the glass came flying towards them. he dodge while Hugh not paying attention was shocked when the glass hit him in the fce and spilling the water on Jordan's head. luckily for the glass it just bounce on the carpeted floor intact.

"Oh oh... now you really did it." She realized what had happen and so afraid with the expression on that humongous man that menancingly walking towards her. She hop in the bed not minding the pain in her foot and ran to the nearest safe place. The walk-in closet. When she heard the locked click .

"Oh no Alina you did it again. Why didn't you run to the bahroom at least there you have a first aid kit to check on your wound or spent the time testing those bubbles on those body washes or wash your hair there are countless things to do and past the time in the bathroom. who knows you might even find a secret passage to freedom." She chastised herself.

"Why do you have to lock me here !" She yell facing the door.

"So that you will learn to act as a lady and not to throw things at people, That was the second time Alina you hurt Hugh and I'm telling you. You may not get away next time. Behind that door won't even be safe for you to hide!"

"When will you let me out please. My foot hurts. " She beg

" When Hugh nose stopped bleeding and does not hurt anymore or the water in my head will dry up." Alina went silent. Thinking could he just wipe himself dry , but Hugh got a bloody nose and it might take time for the pain to stop. She was thinking that she must learn to pick on lucks that's the trick she never learn.

On the other side of the door, Hugh is wiping his bloody nose, for all his enormous size his nose is his sensitive part. He was surprised when Alina bolted out of the bed he just went to reach for the tissue paper to wipe his nose that was located in the side table of the bed. While Jordan was wiping himself dry, he was laughing silently and slowly tapping the arm of his wheelchair and stummping his foot silently as not to make noise. Hugh look at him and cannot help but joined in his master's amusement. He never saw this funny side of his master. He surely had a peculiar sense of humor.

After an hour passed Alina was at the door, she had found a wire, that was in one of the accessories in the closet she started picking the locck diligently saying to herself, "Sparta did not fall on one day."  Come on Alina there's nothing that you cannot do as long as you put your mind on it." , and that was for the last forty minutes. She was getting tired. She was ready to give up when the lock clcked she had a smile of victory in her face only to be wiped out when she saw who was on the other side of the door holding a bunch of keys.
