NADIA'S POV.

My smile spread all over my face, and stayed stuck there until my lids became heavy with sleep and I forgot everything that was going on in the world.

When I woke up, it was with a chuckle. In my dream, Will had followed Titan and I everywhere we went. He had been there in the arcade, shooting guns, and watching us with a malicious eye.

He had even followed us to the forest. I sat up, and gave a sigh. The dream remained funny as long as Will didn't try to follow us where we were going in reality.

I took my bath, and slipped on a casual dress, although it wasn't too casual. It had some pretty designs on it.

To Will, it could come off as me trying to impress Titan, but I was only endeavoring to keep up with Titan because I knew he'd wear something really good; it'd look bad if I looked as if I hadn't given much thought to my o

Why would he stare at me fixedly when there was a large screen playing a comedic movie in front of us?“I'm sorry.” He apologized, and I cleared my throat.Of course, he knew I was uncomfortable. We continued to watch the movie, and in no time, it took away my discomfort. The movie was expertly acted out in such a way that I couldn't help bursting in laughter every few seconds. The writers had written it well, and the actors had also played out their roles perfectly.I knew Titan stared at me occasionally, but he tried his best not to let me notice. Unknown to him, my side eye worked perfectly. When the movie was over, I couldn't resist talking about it, and I surprised myself because it was unlike me to talk so

That's all?” She asked, still with that smile on her face.“For now.” I replied, with a sniff, and wiped my eyes, as a smile, reflecting hers, formed on my face.Already, it was noon, and the sun was high in the sky, striking hot. I had eaten breakfast an hour ago, but my stomach felt empty. My jealousy and anger had fed on my breakfast, as I watched Alpha Titan and Will drool over Nadia. She wasn't even that pretty or special. I was better than she was.“Well…” my mother said, raising a brow, as she got to her feet.“I would have done it myself, but the man I trust in doing stuff like thi

NADIA'S POV.John looked at me with a kind of gratitude in his eyes that moved me.“I've kept this for so long in my heart. I haven't spoken much about it with anyone. It has always eaten away at me, and I have nightmares every time I go to sleep. Since Jake died, I've never really had a rest of mind. I'm always thinking about him.” He bit his lip, and his eyes glistened with tears once more.He added, “But right now, it seems like I might finally be able to sleep once everything is over.” He said, and my heart went soft. Losing someone wasn't easy. I had experienced it when Penelope suddenly died without me knowing anything. It had hurt… hurt so bad that I couldn't stop my tears from falling. All I wanted was someone to talk to, and lament all I wanted. I had felt guilty of not checking up on her, and maybe John felt exactly that

NINA’S POVAll I was waiting for now, was the results of John’s assignment. I couldn’t wait to execute the plan I had in mind for Nadia and her kids. The thought of everything going as planned, made me have goosebumps, and smile like someone who was going crazy.I sat back on the chair before my bed desk, and stared into the mirror with a smile.“You must have thought you came back stronger, and that’s why you had the guts to block my success path. Well, you got it wrong, Nadia. I will crush you down, and this, time, you’re going to be unrevivable.”My phone suddenly rang out, and I looked sharply at the bed, then rose to my feet, and walked towards the other side of the bed. I picked up my phone, and then discovered it was John who was on the phone. Joy and excitement beamed in my heart as I had been anticipating his call, and this time, I could feel it deep in me t

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   Revelation

NADIA’S POVI had acted so well that everyone in the house believed that I had really lost my kids. I recalled seeing Nina standing somewhere in the living room, and watching as Will tried to comfort me. She must have had mixed emotions. Jealousy and anger must have flowed in her veins.Well, someone as vicious as her, deserved it, and even deserved more. She was yet to see what was going to take her by surprise. In her head, she probably thought she was winning.I had intentionally come outside to wail as John had told me to make the whole scenario real as Nina, with the kind of person she is, she might try to double check. When dealing with a smart person like her, one had to be extra smart.By now, everyone thinks I have slept off, so Nina must be thinking the same thing, too. Certainly, no one can be around the corner here.I picked up my phone, then went on a video cal

NADIA’S POVWill looked at me intensely like he was trying to understand what I had to say that had to do with Nina. But then, I stood my ground, and raised my chin a bit high, to express this confident look. If I looked less confident, they could wave me off, thinking I was just trying to cause some unnecessary ruckus, or that I must be going crazy because I lost my kids.“Why do we have to call Nina to this? Is there something going on that I don’t know about?” Will asked, looking baffled.“You will find out.” I replied, not giving him a soft expression. Then one of the council members rose to his feet.“You do know that what you’re doing, isn’t what we call respectful.”I knew it wasn’t, but I had something to gain, and at least, I would redeem my image that way. The look they usually gave me, ever since I

If I hadn't talked to mum, I might have still been stuck in my problem. The twins were gone, and Nadia was mourning. Seeing her mourn was like peace to my soul. She had dared to be the center of attention. How dare she?I bet the ugly, little things were starving and crying for their mum. They didn't know they would never see her if I wanted it.I got up from the table, dropped my blow dryer, and walked to my bedside in my bathrobe."We ought to have a huge celebration, Nina." I couldn't help but express my happiness. It was a burning cauldron inside of him. When I got back to the restaurant, Titan and Anna were still talking, and laughing. It felt like they'd known each other for some time.I walked into the restaurant, and made my way towards them."Jeez, Alpha Titan was just telling me a funny joke. If you hear it, you'll burst into laughter." Anna said, vibrating with laughter."Okay… what's it?" I asked."Now, listen well. A duck, and a frog…" he began, and I paid attention, but by the time he was done, I burst into a shrill laughter I had fueled myself instead of Titan's joke.Anna had definitely fallen for Tit

NADIA'S POV.The next day, I went to Anna's room, and saw her scrolling through her phone, while she lay on the bed, with her back turned upwards."Hey." I called, with a smile, closing her door, and going to join her on the bed."Hey hey." She replied cheerfully, turning over, so her back was on the bed."What are you so engrossed in?" I asked, snatching her phone, and saw she was staring at the photo of a handsome young man."Woah. He's cool." I said, and she chuckled."Are married women allowed to say that?" She asked, and I laughed."What's wrong with appreciating beauty? You were doing the same thing, too." I shot back, passing her phone back to her, and she grinned."You know… there's actually someone who's as handsome as this. Maybe more." She said, biting the nail on her thumb.

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   Peace

NADIA’S POVThat night, I felt so good and relieved while I was on the bed with Will. To think that in the last few hours, I felt so depressed, and heartbroken. I didn’t know how I could live with the fact that Nina was going to die, and I wouldn’t see or hear of her anymore. No, it was best for her to be given the chance to atone for her sins, at least. And as her family member, I was the only one who could plead for her or make her freedom from death, happen. Will walked out of the bathroom, and cleaned his hair with his towel.“I hope you’re now satisfied, Nadia?” He asked, with a charming smile.I loved the atmosphere around. It was a light, and happy one. At least, our enemy was gone now, and we had given her a judgement that wouldn’t burden anyone. The only thing I hoped for was that she would learn her lessons, and turn a new leaf.

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   Brooding

NADIA’S POV“Nadia, you need to stop brooding about this. It’s been two days now, and you aren’t eating as you ought to. All because of your half-sister who wouldn’t bat an eye if you were the one in that shoe?” Anna complained as she sat before me in the living room. She was right. Nina wouldn’t bat an eye if I were the one whose punishment was death. In fact, she would be happy that I was going to be killed, and therefore be out of this world, and her way of getting who she wanted, which was Will. But then, I wasn’t her. This is me, and I can’t bring myself to accept Will’s judgement. In fact, it was seeming more like Will had done something to ensure my calls wouldn’t get to him. Even Tristan wasn’t answering my calls, and it was certain it was on Will’s order, so I can’t blame him.I couldn’t even get angry

ALPHA WILL’S POVAs soon as we got to Los Angeles, I checked my wristwatch, and noticed I still had time, and I could even get to the hotel before the client I’m meant to see, arrives.I wasn’t meant to come out for anything regarding business because I had a lot going on which I had to settle, but this was really important. It was about a contract which we had once signed, but there was something that needed to be changed in some of the terms and conditions, and my presence and signature was needed before it could be processed.Well, it was also a good distraction to take my mind off the fact that I had ordered the guards to behead Nina. That was the most suitable punishment for her. In fact, if there was any other punishment worse than death, I would give it to her.She had made me feel a bit less of an Alpha because of the way she managed to play me, and made

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   A yearning hope

NADIA’S POVIt had been two days since Will stayed in his study, thinking of the perfect punishment to give Nina. Although, he allowed me in whenever I wanted to check up on him, but he didn’t come to sleep in the room. He ate, drank and did everything in his study. He had said that it was until he thought of the perfect punishment that he would find himself worthy to sleep by my side, and do things with me. Although, I understood how bad he still felt when he found out that I was framed, and then he turned his back against me when the world did. It was more like he was beating himself up, and several times, I had told him I had forgiven him, and it was fine.Yet, he couldn’t bring himself to be with me.“Will, it’s time you stop beating yourself up on this. Her being in the dungeon is enough punishment for the atrocities she has caused.” I said to him as I looked

NINA’S POVWho would have ever thought that I would end up in a dungeon, in my life? Worse, a dungeon in a place where I have ruled as a Luna. Where I have been respected, and revered. Much worse, my mom was also with me in this dungeon.I could imagine my father shaking his head in disappointment at us. I didn’t listen to him when he pleaded for me to let go of the grudge I had on Nadia. But then, why did Nadia always have to pose as a threat to whatever I desire, or have?It wasn’t my fault that I tried several times to eliminate her. She had always made me uncomfortable, and I can’t keep on living in discomfort every single time. The dungeon was cold, and I stuck so close to the wall, wrapping my arms around my crouched knees. It was a bit dark, and spooky, making it certain that there could be spiders and some creepy crawlies. The thought that things that I h

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   Unbelievable

ALPHA WILL’S POVI couldn’t believe my ears. So, all this while, I was being played by Nina, and she had her way at each stage she planned. It was so unbelievable that she could outsmart me, myself. How could all these happen, and I had no suspicion about this?It was so embarrassing as the memory of the time when Nadia was brought out to the meeting hall and was being interrogated, but nothing worked in her favor- came to my mind. Nadia had pleaded for me to believe her; although, she had no proof, but then, I ought to have been lenient. So, I played Nina’s pawn, and made my lover suffer all for nothing, and alone, all by herself. Anger filled me up like when water fills up a bucket to the brim. I got so furious that if it were possible, fire was going to flare out of my head, showing how dangerously angry I was.I slammed my hand on the table as I rose to my feet with a frown on m

  • The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies   Her end

NADIA’S POVSeeing as Nina was back, it was best to strike before she went out again. Judging from the past ways which Nina has worked, it was evident that she was the fast and smart type. Definitely, she was going to start planning something as she got home. So, it’s best for me to be faster and smarter, or I won’t know when all that I have planned would go down the drain, and she would again, win against me. As I woke the next morning, I immediately went to Will’s study as that must have been where he was, currently. If he was in his matrimonial bedroom, it would have been obvious. It’s either I hear him speaking out in anger to Nina, or he would barge out of the room. So, none of that happened for almost half an hour, last night. As I got to his study, I pushed open the door since it was slightly open, and I was met with his curious expression.&l
