Riley Mackenzie turned his head and was surprised when James Gardner was staring at him too.

"What's wrong?" Riley chose to ask James.

James clucked his tongue, "You seem pretty tall. What sport are you doing?"

"All." Riley answered in short.

Alen Smith raised his right eyebrow, "What are you doing? Why did you ask about that?"

"What's wrong with my question?" James retorted, not to be outdone.

Diego suddenly said, "You seem to have a problem, my friend."

"What do you mean?" James asked with a displeased look on his face.

"Politeness," Diego replied shortly.

Riley, who had witnessed the three starting to argue, sighed softly. He intended to intervene but instead he heard James reply to Diego, "Civility? What's that? I don't get it at all."

Diego gritted his teeth, but Alen quickly said, "Of course you don't understand. If you did, you wouldn't be Jody Gardner's descendant."

Riley jumped in surprise when he heard his friend take up the topic.

Sure enough, as he expected, James jumped
