Bonnie POV
“MOM, Benny doesn’t let me go to the swimming pool with him,” I shout, and Benny flips me the bird. I shake my head as I cover my mouth, and then I smirk. “I’m gonna tell Mom,” I threaten him and he takes a deep breath, considering his options. I know I am only fifteen, but my brother is my hero and I love spending time with him when he is home from college.
“Fine, but stay away from us, make yourself invisible,” he tells me as he smacks me on the back of the head, And I nod. I love spending time with my brother and his friends. Although they all treat me like a child, it’s like they don’t realize I am growing up, except Jude. He doesn’t even look my way. It’s like I don’t exist. I remember the first time my brother brought Jude home. I felt my heart beat fast, and I instantly had a crush on him.
“Hey little Bonbon,” Parker says as he ruffles my hair and I slap his hand away from my hair. I and my friends agreed to cut our hair short, but they all backed out and I did it, anyway. I love my pixie cut. It makes me look edgy, and I thought that if I appeared this summer looking different, Jude would notice and give me some attention. Obviously, it backfired because he has his girlfriend here with him. She is one of those Upper East Side princesses. Her hair can never get wet. Her bikini is so small that if she moves, it will show something it shouldn’t.
“My name is Bonnie,” I tell Parker, and he laughs, opening a beer. I watch as Jude is laying on a pool bed with his eyes closed. I wish he would look my way. I have some boys in school trying to date me, but no one ever will compare me to Jude.
I lay on my pool bed in a strategic position so I can watch him with no one noticing. I open my book and a few minutes later, movement catches my attention. Jude sits on the edge of his pool bed and stretches his long arms above his head. Automatically, the plastic doll next to him does the same and wraps her arms around his neck.
I roll my eyes and try to focus on my book again, but this time I can’t. He is standing on the edge of the pool and then he is inside. His jump was perfection, barely any splash, but even like that, the girl let out an extremely annoying scream as if a few drops of water would kill her.
Jude starts swimming in the pool, all the way to the end, and then back again. I watch his muscles move with ease as he swims in front of me. I might be drooling because I feel my brother’s hand smacking me again on the back of the head, bringing me back to reality.
“Stop ogling my friends, that’s disgusting,” he says and I flip him off, going back to my previous position laying down with my book in front of me. I am reading a book that is not proper for my age, but that’s what everyone is reading.
I am deep into a sex scene when the sun is blocked and I look up to protest and I see Jude looking at me frowning as he moves a towel up his arm drying it. I sit up straight, closing the book and hiding it under my leg, and Jude shakes his head.
“You should’ve been faster, Faye,” Jude says and I frown, adjusting my sunglasses, looking up at him. Jude sits on the edge of my pool bed, moving the towel to his hair. I watch with my mouth open and when his eyes lock on mine, I try to behave normally, trying to pretend I wasn’t looking at him, but my entire body is on edge with him so close. He has never done this before.
Jude moves his hand and grabs the book. While he does that, he slightly runs his finger on my leg, making my entire body stiffen and the butterflies in my stomach wake up. Jude opens the book, finding the page I was reading and his eyes scan the page. His eyebrows furrow while he reads, and then he spins the book around and reads the synopsis. I can feel my cheeks warming up.
Jude holds the book and I take it from him, bringing it closer to my chest and hugging it with both my arms. “It will be our dirty little secret,” he tells me before he stands up and walks to the table where the drinks are. I watch as he walks away and I feel like the world has stopped moving and it’s just him on the face of the earth.
I quickly stand up and grab my towel and phone, running back into the house. I can feel my entire body in flames just because unintentionally he touched me. I walk into the kitchen and rest my hip against the sink, trying to catch my breath. I hear the door opening behind me and what’s her name walks in.
“Where is the bathroom?” She asks with her arms crossed in front of her chest as she looks at me.
“Outside, in the pool house,” I say, and she clicks her tongue looking at me from head to toe.
“You’re a pathetic little thing, aren’t you?” She asks and I frown, looking at her as I am now facing her. I put my book down on the counter with my phone as her hands move to her hips and she looks at me again from head to toe. “You have a crush on my boyfriend, it’s just pathetic,” she says and I stay Where I am without saying another word. I am not good with confrontation and I hate mean girls. She takes one step closer to me, but the doors open again and Parker walks in.
“Hey little Bonbon, hotdogs are ready,” he says as he walks towards me, wrapping one arm around my shoulder. He looks at the girl and raises an eyebrow. “What is going on here?” He asks as he looks at the two of us.
“Oh, nothing, I was just telling Bonnie that I love her swimsuit,” she says, and Parker shakes his head.
“Okay Meredith, let’s go,” he says, and she nods, spinning on her heels and walking out, leaving me alone with Parker.
“Are you okay Bonbon?” He asks and I nod. My entire body is shaking, and he knows he can feel it. “You’re not okay. What did she say? Did she make you feel uncomfortable?” He asks and I shake my head faking a smile.
“No, I’m good, I am just a little cold, that’s why I came inside, I’m just going to my room,” I say and Parker nods, moving his arm away from my shoulders.
“You know you can talk to me, right, kiddo?” He says and I nod. I’ve known Parker since I can remember. He grew up a couple of doors down from us and then he went to college with Bennie. I always felt like I had two brothers when it comes to Parker.
“Okay, I’ll bring some food for you later,” he tells me.
“It’s okay, I am not hungry,” I say. I have been trying to lose some weight. My mom keeps tormenting me, saying that I need to lose my childhood weight and grow into my woman’s body. I like my body. I am not a Barbie. I have curves.
I grab my things and run up the stairs, hiding away in my room for the rest of the day. I have a little book corner on the window and I sit while I read. I can see the swimming pool and I can watch Jude without him noticing me. He is the quietest of them all. He is not as loud as them and he definitely doesn’t behave like a horny teenager like the other guys, even though they are all in their mid-twenties.
My phone rings with a text message and I see John’s name flashing. He has been asking me out since the begging of the school year and I keep telling him no, but I guess it’s time to change that.
I open the message and smile. Meredith’s words keep repeating in my head. “You have a crush on my boyfriend, it’s just pathetic,” I shake my head, reading the message.
“Hey Bonnie, what are you doing tonight?” John asks, and I smile.
“Going out with you?” I reply and my heart beats fast. John is one of the most popular guys in school. He plays football and he usually only dates cheerleaders, so I have to say it surprised me when he asked me out.
“Yes, I’ll pick you up at seven,” I read and smile, looking at the time. I have two hours to get ready. I clap my hands in excitement as the plan starts to formulate in my head.
I run downstairs and walk into the living room to find my mom reading a magazine. She might not be the best mother in the world, but she knows how to choose clothes. She has a sense of style that I don’t.
“Mom?” I say as I enter the room and she raises her eyes to me, closing the magazine.
“Yes Bonnie,” she says, and I fiddle with my fingers. She raises one eyebrow while my dad looks at me through his glasses that are resting on the edge of his nose.
“I have a date tonight. Can you help me chose an outfit?” I say and she smiles, standing up almost immediately placing the magazine on the coffee table.
“Who’s the date with?” My dad asks, and I smile.
“His name is Joh. He is the quarterback?” I say and Dad nods. Dad owns the school I go to, so he knows everyone, but he doesn’t really meddle in my life.
“John Prescott?” My mom asks and I nod. She smiles and wraps one arm around my neck as we walk up the stairs again.
“He comes from a good family, and he has money,” Mom says, and I nod. I don’t know why Mom is so fascinated with money. Her first marriage ended up because Benny’s dad lost all his money gambling. I understand she needed to protect Benny, and then she married my dad and all she seems to think about is family names and money. I don’t understand.
At seven on the dot, the doorbell rings and I feel my hands starting to sweat. Jude and Benny are sitting in the living room when I walk down the stairs and mom opens the door. I can feel Jude’s eyes on me while Benny shakes his head.
“Where is she going, dressed like that?” He asks my dad and dad looks at him, raising one eyebrow.
“None of your business,” I tell him and I give Dad a wink and she smiles, focusing his eyes again on his newspaper. I walk to the door and John is standing there with a bouquet of red roses. I have never gotten flowers from anyone.
“These are for you,” he says, giving me the flowers.
“Thank you, they are beautiful,” I say.
“I’ll put them in water, have fun, and be home before your curfew,” Mom says, and I nod, walking to John that offers me his arm. I look back to see Jude looking at me. I smile and walk out with John.
Bonnie POV I run down the stairs when I see Benny’s car approaching the house. “They’re here,” I shout from the door to my mom and dad that are sitting in the living room. Summer holidays are finally here and I can’t wait to see my brother… and Jude. I haven’t seen my brother since last summer, and I haven’t seen Jude in almost three years. The last time I saw him was before my first date with John. When I got back, he was gone and went back to New York. I run down the steps as Benny stops his car and gets out. He looks at me and smiles. “Fuck, you’ve grown,” he says and I run to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. Benny and Jude have been really busy with their own businesses. Jude hasn’t been around the last two summers like he used to. To my surprise, Benny is alone. I help him get his things out of the car and bring them inside the house. Mom is waiting for him near the door. She gives him a tight hug and Dad shakes his hand. “Did you come alone?” I ask as disappointment ta
Jude POV I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with me. Since I got here, I can’t stop looking at Bonnie. She has grown into this beautiful woman. Her hair falls down her back while her body is defined now, her breasts round and plump lips asking to be kissed. Come on, man, you can’t think of her like that. She is your best friend’s little sister, and she is ten years younger than you. I close my eyes, resting my head on the pillow as I remember her chocolate brown eyes locking on mine while I licked my finger, tasking the sugar that was on her lips. I sound like a fucking psycho. I have never felt this type of desire for a woman, not even Meredith can make me think like this. I know she turned eighteen a couple of weeks ago, and she is a woman now, but I need to keep my distance and forget that I want her. I shake my head, pushing away those thoughts, and I decide to walk downstairs and get some orange juice. I feel like my body is on fire just thinking of her. I adjust my throbbing
Jude POV “Where did Meredith go?” Benny asks when I walk into the kitchen and I take a deep breath. “We had an argument, and she said it would be better to stay with her parents,” I say and Benny nods as he places coffee in front of me. I smile, bringing it to my lips. Benny's family is wealthy, not as much as my family, but close, and they don't employ any housekeeping staff. They all do everything, cleaning, cooking, and shopping. I would love to see my mom trying to put the dishwasher to work. “I need to go get some stuff ready for Bonnie’s party. Do you want to come?” He asks, and I shake my head. “I have some work to do. If you don’t mind, I will be using the office today,” I say, and he nods. “Just let my stepfather know. He won’t mind, but you know..” He says and I nod. I don’t really have a lot of work to do, I just don’t want to be walking around with Bonnie next to me. I’ve seen her, and she is wearing a pair of shorts so small that shoes her ass cheeks and I don’t thin
Jude POV “I want you inside of me,” she says, and I nod as I press my cock harder against her entrance, finding some resistance from her side. I push harder and she screams in pain and pleasure. I stand still as her chest rises and falls and when she is ready, I move. Her walls are tight around my cock while I kiss her again. I keep moving in and out of her. She feels good; she feels right; she feels like heaven. I close my eyes as she presses her breasts against my chest, wrapping her fingers in my hair, pulling slightly. Fuck, she really knows how to get me going. With one movement, I pull away from her and spin her around. Bonnie moans as I press her breasts against the desk. My hand is on her back, keeping her in place while my other one holds her hip while I slide inside of her again. My eyes roll back as my head falls back and I let out a loud growl, feeling her tight around my cock. I lean over and kiss her back while my fingers dig into her hips, keeping her in place while
Jude POV“Julie, can I please have my schedule cleared for the next two weeks?” I ask my secretary through the intercom between my office and her desk.“Sure boss, should I reschedule everything or ask Trish to take over?” She asks, and I pinch the bridge of my nose as I pull my tie, undoing it completely.“Ask Trish to deal with the urgent stuff, the rest reschedule, and please, can you try to get that new author to contact me?” I say as I undo the first two buttons from my shirt.“Sure boss,” she says before the line goes silent again and I press the button on my laptop, allowing the music to go back to blast through the speakers around the room. My office is soundproof because sometimes I need to blow off some steam and I blast loud music while I punch my boxing punching bag.I remove my shirt and shoes before I press the button that allows the bag to descend from the ceiling and hang in front of me. I put on my hand wraps and position myself in front of the bag before I move my ne
Bonnie POV “No Mom, please don’t make a big deal out of this,” I let out, but she waves me off as she shows me the menu for the dinner. I shake my head, taking it from her hand. I scan the document and frown. “Who eats this? Come on Mom, can we have human food?” I ask and she clicks her tongue, removing her glasses as she looks at me. “Bonnie, this is an important engagement. You’re not marrying some lowlife. Peter comes from an important family,” she says, and I swear that’s all my mom thinks about. I couldn’t care less what type of family Peter has. “Mom, you know Peter is simple like me. He doesn’t like all of this,” I say as I point at the caviar on the menu. “Can we please tone it down and remove half of the people from this list? I don’t even know who they are,” I say and again she ignores me, waving her hand. “Nonsense Bonnie, these are very important people, and it’s good for you to get to know them,” she says and I shake my head, raising both my arms in the air in surrend
Bonnie POVI have been in New York for whole three days and I already upset my Mom, annoy my brother, and cheat on Peter. What the hell is wrong with me? I close my eyes as I feel the hot water falling on my head, trying to wash away the feeling of Jude’s hands on my body. I should tell Pete. No, it meant nothing. We stopped before it went too far.Well, Jude ruined everything, the same way he did ten years ago. Why did he have to open his mouth? Couldn’t he just stay quiet? Argh. The frustration is taking the best of me. I finish my shower and walk out into the room. Benny arranged for me and Pete while we can’t find anything we like.Renting in New York is obscene. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, especially in the areas Peter wants us to live in. I could just live in a small studio apartment, but he wants a three-bedroom apartment with a living room and a separate dining room.Once I am dressed, I walk out of the room with my hai
Jude POVI canceled my plans to go to the house on the mountain. Knowing that Bonnie is in town makes me want to stay. I look around everywhere I go, trying to see her. Now that she is back in New York, I am not letting her go easily. Not the way she did on her eighteenth birthday.I made a mistake not going after her, and now I am paying for it. I haven’t been able to be with anyone since her, and I’ve tried. I tried to get into serious relationships, but no one compared to her. So I decided I wouldn’t even try anymore. It’s like my body knew the other girls weren’t Bonnie and decided to sabotage me. I even went to the doctor to see if I was broken. My cock only reacts when it’s Bonnie related.I adjust my tie as I look at my reflection in the mirror. I have a dinner meeting with a new writer we are trying to sign. She is a tough cookie to swallow, but I got her to meet me for dinner and I will use everything in my pow
Jude POV“Where are we going?” I ask as Fred smiles. I can see the mischief in his eyes.“You’re going to love it,” Dylan says and I take a deep breath as Richard places a cigar between his lips and lights it up while shaking his head slightly.“I don’t think he will love it, and I honestly think he will rip your head off,” Richard says and Fred shakes his head as he retrieves the cigar from Richard’s mouth.“Shut up,” Fred says as the limousine stops and the door opens while he keeps the cigar between his lips and Richard retrieves another one from his suit inside jacket.“Hello boys,” I hear two women say as they get in the car. Their skirts are so short they leave nothing to the imagination. Dylan smiles and winks as Fred opens his arms and the girls sit next to him, one under each of his arms as he hugs them against his body. Dylan moves quickly, grabbing the cigar an
Bonnie POV“What time are you meeting Carly?” Benny asks and I take a deep breath, closing my eyes.“In about one hour,” I say, and he nods as he keeps his eyes locked on his laptop. I am sitting in front of him, but he hasn’t looked at me once.“Okay, why did you call me here? You haven’t even looked at me,” I say and he closes his laptop, resting his hands on it. Benny bites his lips, looking at me, and I raise an eyebrow.“I am going to ask Trish to marry me again,” Benny says and I smile sitting forward on the chair as I look at him.“Oh, that’s great,” I say, and he nods. He looks at his hands and I realize there’s more to it than what he is letting on. “And?” I say.“She is pregnant, we just found out,” he says and I smile, standing up and walking to him to hug him. “But it’s not mine,” he finally says and I sto
Bonnie POV “Are you ready for this? We can just stay outside,” Jude tells me and I shake my head. I am not waiting outside when Peter is being judged by what he has done to me. Jude gathered all the information needed for everything he had done, using my phone and booking everything in London with my name, then what he did in Jude’s building. Everything built up and now here we are. Waiting to know what is going to happen. More people joined my lawsuit when it was announced through the media. He has stolen a lot of money from people; he committed fraud in three different countries and now he is going to pay for it. If it was a family without money, things wouldn’t be happening so fast, but because the Ashford name is involved, things are happening fast. Faster than I ever thought possible. “No, I want to face him,” I say and he nods as he holds my hand while we walk through the corridor. There he is, with his lawyer, while Julien walks next to me. Jude though
Bonnie POV“I can’t, I’m going to be late,” I say over my shoulder as I walk out of the bedroom and down the stairs.“But you said you would do it in the mornings before work,” Jude says as he follows me. I roll my eyes, avoiding answering him. We have been biting each other’s heads off lately, and I know that is mostly because of my hormones.“Bonnie, please stop,” he says, grabbing my arm. I turn around, looking at him, snatching my arm back, and then cross them in front of my chest.“You know today is a very important day for me, I have the Vogue photoshoot, and then I have the trial, so please Jude, don’t start a fight with me right now,” I say and he takes a deep breath as he walks to me resting his hands on my hips.“I am just trying to help you,” he tells me and I shake my head, as I can’t believe he is using that argument right now.“Yeah,
Jude POV“Good morning,” I say as soon as Bonnie opens her eyes. She squints her eyes a little as the sun is shining through the window and when her eyes land on mine I smile, watching as she stretches her arms above her head and then places a small kiss on my lips.“Good morning. How are you feeling? Do you need me to help you up?” She starts bombarding me with questions, and I close my eyes for a few seconds. Bonnie has been taking care of me nonstop. Even when the nurses are around, she refuses to leave my side, and I am terrified she will be doing too much.“I am good, I have been to the bathroom,” I say, and she bites her lower lip as she looks at me and I smile as I rub my thumb over her plump lips.“You should’ve called me,” she says and I shake my head as I watch her. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on, and I can’t believe she is mine.It took us ten years to
Jude POV“Come, let me help you up,” Mom says and I shake my head.“I am okay mother, I am not an invalid,” I say and she shakes her head as she rests one hand over her beating heart and Bonnie looks at me as if I am a monster.“Don’t look at me like that. I have been stuck in this bed for far too long. I just want to go home,” I say and Bonnie looks at my mom and then back at me. They both look guilty as fuck. “What is going on?” I ask.“Well, as Bonnie is pregnant, and she is going through the horrible sickness in the morning, and you will need supervision, we thought the both of you could move into your old room, and stay with me until you’re recovered and ready to go back to your normal life,” my mom says and I can’t help but chuckle.“No, not happening, I am not a child anymore that needs his mommy taking care of him. We will go to our house,” I say and B
Bonnie POVJude is out of surgery, and I keep waiting for news. His mother and brothers are there and I feel extremely guilty for being in his house like a doll waiting for the phone to ring. And it does. I answer it straight away.“Bonnie, he is awake and asking for you,” Dylan says on the other side of the line.“Oh my God, how is he?” I ask as I walk to the door, putting my shoes on. I look around, trying to find my jacket, but I have no clue where I put it. I swear I left it here yesterday. I shrug, walking back into the bedroom to get another one.“He is okay, moody as ever, and asking to see you,” he says, and I smile.“I’m on my way. I’ll get an Uber and I will be there as soon as possible,” I tell Dylan before we end the call and I make all the arrangements to go see Jude. Things have been a kind of manic for me, after Jude being in the hospital, Carly being an only fans girl and H
Bonnie POVI have done what Jude asked me. I am home, sitting on the couch, waiting for Carly and Harlow to arrive. I made them both promise not to speak about Parker. I am in need of my friends and I definitely can’t deal with any crap that is going on between them. The door chimes and I jump. I stand up, ready to open the door, but I realize it was the phone that connects to the doorman.“ Miss Walton, there’s someone here to see you,” he tells me, and I take a deep breath.“I thought I had authorized Carly and Harlow to come up,” I say, and he takes a deep breath on the other side.“Yes you did ma’am, but it’s not them, it’s a Mr. Styles, he says it is important,” the doorman tells me and I stop breathing for a couple of seconds.“He is not allowed up, tell him I don’t want to talk to him, and if he insists threaten him with police,” I say and I can tell the doorm
Bonnie POV “Hi my dear, how is he?” Camila asks as she approaches me while I sit in the waiting room. We’ve been here for more than one hour and no one has come out to say anything. “I don’t know, I am sorry,” I say as the tears roll down my cheeks and Camila pulls me into a tight embrace. I never thought I would get a close relationship with Jude’s mother. I always heard she was cold and distant, but this is not that type of woman. “Bonnie, where is he?” I hear Dylan’s voice behind me, accompanied by footsteps. I pull away from their mother’s embrace and look over my shoulder to see Jude’s brothers all standing behind me. They all look as worried as I feel. “He’s through those doors,” I say, pointing at the glass double doors and Richard nods as he walks to them and presses the button to open the doors. “You can’t go there, staff only,” I say and he ignores what I say and walks in. Dylan and Fred sit next to me while their mother sits on the other si
