The Next Day

After a not-so-quiet and long ride, Damien pulled up in front of a private hospital. He parked his car after which he helped himself down and went to the other side to get Rumi.

With his hand intertwined with her tiny ones, they made their way to the hospital and straight to Rhoda's ward.

"Grandma!" Rumi released her hand from Damien's and ran towards Eliana who they both saw outside the ward.

"Sweetheart!" Eliana crouched to Rumi's height on time and pulled the little girl into a warm hug. She kissed her cheek before pulling away from the hug.

"How are you, my love?"

"I'm fine, so happy to see you." She grinned.

"Is mommy in?"

"Yes, dear. I'm about to go get fruits. You want some?"

Rumi nodded. "Grapes Please."

"Okay, my love."
