One thing I do know is that Jason owns this cabin. He may have even lived here for a long time, probably as a child and teenager.
And I could take a wild guess and say this is family property.
And knowing this gives me the first clue on how to get out of here.
...............
I stand up from the leather couch and it makes a weird sound as my butt slides off the material.
When Griffin went to shower, he went upstairs and so I’m guessing the bathroom is there also.
A sharp pain suddenly grabs the left side of my forehead and I flinch in pain. As quickly and suddenly as the pain came, it disappears without a trace.
What the hell was that? It hurt like crazy but n
Of course everything Jason did and told me was a lie. And the fact that he orchestrated this so well just proves more to me that Jason is a professional liar. And just a very wicked and evil person.Oh, how I wish to meet him. I want to look into his eyes and spit into his pale face. ............“You like the eggs, yeah?” Griffin asks as he sits on the other couch. The living room is fairly quiet and I’m guessing it is maybe 11pm by now. The air was cold but now it feels much warmer. Maybe the heater was turned on.“You have to talk to me, Rose.” He says as if he’s a friend. He is most certainly not.“I don’t.” I chuckle.
Griffin immediately stands.“Repeat what you just said.” He says calmly as he stares in my eyes. His blue eyes looks poisonous.“Say it again and I will crush your legs.” He smiles as he sees his words are getting its desired effect on me.And I am completely terrified...............“Yeah, that’s what I thought.” He says and he begins walking towards the staircase. “It’s late, go to bed. We have a long day ahead of us.” His voice doesn’t sound tired.I am really tired though and this has been the longest and most eventful day of my life. I just wish that this could be a dream and I would wake up in my comfortable bed, along with my soft velv
And the thing is that we can’t even celebrate Sterling’s birthday again. It’s today.Am I a morning person? Some days I am, and some days I am most definitely not. And today, I am not.“I’m coming in.” I hear griffin’s voice as the door opened slowly............He enters the room with a tray of food and it smells lovely.Wait, hold up. What is this man taking himself to be? My father?“How did you sleep?” He asks as he walks towards me with the tray of food. He has changed and I think showered even. He’s wearing a white shirt and black men shorts. His hair looks really good this morning and I somehow see that he looks fairly handsome.
“No, no, no. You don’t speak to me that way, Rosie.” He says and I feel my jaw tighten. Anger flows through my entire mind and the only thing I want to do right now is to hurt him real bad.“Don’t call me that.” I say and Jason laughs.“I can call you whatever I want to.” His voice is confident. ..............“No, the hell you can’t!” My voice booms through the entire house. It is pretty quiet now and the only sound that can be heard is the chirping of the birds.I hear Griffin curse something under his breath.Jason stands up slowly and closes his jacket. He smiles a very creepy smile and then snaps
“Don’t cry.” Griffin says softly. “I will take care of you, you would be alright.” He says as he pushes open the cabin door with his leg. It opens and reveals a house scene quite different from the bigger cabin. This one is more humble. And If I wasn’t in so much pain and agony right now, I would have cussed Griffin out for telling me not to cry.Does he know what a broken wrist feels like?..............Suddenly my mind goes to Sterling and when I broke his wrist.Wow, I was so wrong for that that it seems comical. This hurts like hell.“What are you smiling about?” Griffin as
“Good.” I say and Griffin stands up. He was actually sitting on a small wooden chair that I did not notice before.“I will get you some food. Stay here and do not do anything stupid or heroic. Heroes die around here.” He warns me and then he leaves the cabin................Where can I even go when my knee is aching with pain along with my wrist.I adjust my head as I look around this cabin. It looks aged but strong. It also has a very nostalgic smell that I can’t particularly name. There are no chandeliers and fancy silk curtains. It looks like a very typical cabin, unlike the other cabin across from here.I hear the door creak and I ask sharply. “Who’s there?”
“Apparently, I do.” He replies as he walks closer and closer to the big cabin. In no time, he reaches it and pushes the wooden door open with his legs.I just remain standing in the snow barefooted again as I watch him disappear into the structure..............“Rose?” I hear a distant voice but I pay no heed. I remain standing in the white substance that falls from the sky. My feet are terribly cold to the point of numbness as I watch the larger cabin. What am I doing?I don’t know. I am just standing here, watching the cabin. Why?I don’t know either, but what I do know is that I am not mentally okay. Could be why I could be hea
“Yeah, so we need to get out of here right now. But we can’t leave Sterling.” I say strongly.“Rose, my car is parked not far from here. Let’s go right now, we could come back for Sterling with the police. There’s an assassin literally in there!” She says. But I am not leaving Sterling..............“Oh no. Non huh.” She says shaking her head frustratingly.“What?” I ask her and she sighs tiredly.“You have that look.” Words seem to be coming out of her mouth but I just don’t understand what she’s trying to say.“What look?” I ask and she scoffs.“The loo
