Chapter 018: A New Friend (1)

Black's POV

I stood outside the cafe, waiting for Al to come. I entered earlier and he wasn't the one by the counter. I texted him too, but he hasn't replied. Since I figured he wasn't here, I thought I'd just wait for him out here. 

Since he helped me with my situation with Crimson, I wanted to thank him personally. If I just say it through text, it won't feel as genuine. 

"Oh, Black?" A voice called my name. I looked to my side and saw Lilac, behind her were her two friends, the tall guy and the aggressive girl. 

The aggressive girl glared at me, then passed me as she walked inside the cafe. 

Lilac sighed. "I'm really sorry for her. She's a nice person, I swear, so I hope you don't see her in a bad light."

"Don't worry." I replied. "I'm sure she has her own reasons for why she's acting like that." Though I honestly feel a little hurt since she's one of the few people with colors I can talk
