THE VISIONS

Lucine entered the cottage, obviously worried. His face scrounged up in pain, his forehead sweating, his breathing uneven, as if he had been running. He burst out, “I was out on patrol but my heart was crying for Rosalind. I just parted with her an hour ago and could not understand the distress I was going to on her account. I just knew I had to come over, though it is late.”

"Cathryn, what's happening? I sensed Rosalind's distress," Lucine said, his voice low and urgent.

Cathryn stepped aside, allowing Lucine to enter. "She's had a vision, Lucine. A powerful one. She saw the Order's plan, their dark magic, and the potion they're using to infect werewolves."

Lucine's gaze fell upon Rosalind's unconscious form, and he rushed to her side. "What's wrong with her? Why is she still out?"

Cathryn's expression was worried. "The vision was too much for her. She's still learning to control her powers. I've never seen her like this before."
