An hour later, Tristan walked back up the path to the house, this time with a bouquet of flowers in hand. "Hi again, I'm so sorry to bother you, but I think I left my diary here earlier," he said, trying to sound as innocent as possible.

Cathryn raised an eyebrow but stepped aside to let him in. "I don't think anyone's seen a diary, but you're welcome to take a look around."

Tristan smiled and walked into the living room, where Rosalind was sitting on the couch. "Thanks so much, I really appreciate it."

As he sat down next to Rosalind, he took a deep breath and pulled off his wig, revealing his true identity.

Rosalind's eyes widened in shock, and Cathryn's jaw dropped. "Tristan?" Cathryn whispered, her voice trembling.

Tristan grinned mischievously. "The one and only."
