Chapter Forty-Two

It’s been a few hours since Markus appeared at our door, I haven’t left the bedroom but I could hear the argument that Austin and Roman had. I wanted to go out there and help, but I knew me being there would only make the situation that much worse.

I was now getting ready for this dinner that Austin and I are being dragged to, this time around I wasn’t as nervous. I knew the kind of things to expect but also, I knew what I could and couldn’t do when it came to Markus. I just hope Austin keeps to the plan and doesn’t try to make Markus angry, we all know what happened last time he did that!
