Chapter Forty-Five

Austin and I look at each other for a few more seconds, Markus isn’t being serious right now is he? He doesn’t actually expect us to do some of his weird deliveries at this hour?! Austin looks back at Markus still shocked, but Markus’s face didn’t change.

“It’s 9pm” Austin says trying to remind Markus that it was indeed late, but Markus just smiles nodding his head as though it was nothing. “Isn’t it a bit late to do this?” Austin asks when Markus still fails to understand where we were going with this!

“We all know night is the best time to do any sort of delivery, the roads are clear” Markus says shrugging, well perhaps if he stops to take in his own sentence, he would understand the reason for the roads being clear is everyone is at home!

“What type of people are we delivering these packages to?” Austin asks after realising Markus wouldn’t back down this time, but his questions only worries me slightly, if we have to do this at nighttime, what and who are we delivering these to?!
