I sat on the couch with a bowl of peanut ice cream mixed with pickles. My eyes glued on TV shows when my best friend burst out his name.
"Daniel James Williams." She said, walking to the couch and sat down next by me.
I haven't seen or heard from that jerk since he says those cruel words to me. I hope he is somewhere catching HIV; He deserves it.
"How did you found that out?" I ask her, taking my mind away from my thoughts as I take a few bites of my ice cream.
"My ex-boyfriend Jimmy is an ex-cop, you must have forgotten, I dated him," She chuckled.
I honestly did forget about her ex-boyfriend.
She opened her cell phone, where there was an article and begins reading out loud. "Well, Daniel is a twenty-nine years old man who happens to be the youngest and most prosperous businessman in the world. He owns about sixty buildings in Georgia, and he is planning on opening up a new program for single mothers," Michelle stated, reading the article.
"Wait! What?" I said to her, sitting next to the couch.
Why did he even do that, maybe because of me?
"It said he just had opened the program yesterday," Michelle said, still looking at the computer in front of her.
"So, you got you a rich boy?" She smiles as she turns around and looks at me.
"Maybe." I laugh.
"Do you know when is your next doctor appointment?" Michelle asked me.
"Hopefully, tomorrow. " I place my bowl on the small table beside the couch.
DANIEL
I smile as the program was becoming successful. I look at all of the women who were here today.
I wonder how she is doing since I told her that day. I tried to contact her since that day, but I haven't got anything. I don't blame her, either.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Johnson's because of you. I can have a roof over my head for my kids." A woman who walked up to me with tears in her eyes says to me.
"No, thank you for joining my program." I smile at her.
"Mr.Johnson, Can I take a picture with you with her! A Reporter says as I nodded, and he took a picture of us.
Maybe, if she sees how I am trying to change, she will forgive me. I am not a bad guy, say bad decisions like any other man on this forsaking earth.

Her voice was so smooth and pretty, I could listen to her for years.
