She got the mitt and opened the door, and looked in to see the coals on the bottom still glowing red. She knew she could not really go into the unit until they were out completely. She looked around in it and then saw the one thing she was hoping she wouldn’t. A bone. A long human bone. She stood there and looked into the unit some more.
The people missing were now found. She had located them. Her brother and his mistress, who had been Gabe’s girlfriend. She stood there looking at the open unit and began to wonder what the hell she was supposed to do. All the things she had thought were true. All the urban legends were true as well. She was lost in her own mind.

Her boss was looking at her through his own office, and he walked over and stood in the doorway. “You know I understand you’re probably tired from teaching. I can have someone take over your full shifts, and then you can just focus on that.” Her boss said, “The doctors all think it is a great thing to be able to go into the schools and start teaching the stuff we do.”“Thanks.” She said though she knew she couldn’t take him up on the offer. Larissa didn’t bother to go home to change. She had planned all of this out before she had left the house to go to work the night before.
