I nod my head at her, as I’m determined to make it work this time.
Striding to the center of the room, I sat down on the floor and close my eyes and let go of everything that has been bothering me. Let go of my fears and insecurities, and focus on finding a balance of harmony within myself.
It took me some time to find, but when I finally did, I felt refreshed and in sync with everything around me. I could feel the energy surging through me and around me. I felt light weighted as I do the hand gesture and summoned my shield out from within me to my hands.
Opening my eyes, I saw the hues of the shield surrounding me and spread out my hands to spread out the shield to cover the entire room.
I smile in excitement as I see how surprised my mate was looking at the shield.

Too tired to stand on my own, I leaned back against him and closed my eyes, enjoying the feel of his hands on my body as they roam everywhere, removing all the clothing I had on down to my undergarments.
