Walking into the dungeon, the first thing that hit me was the pungent smell coming from within the walls. I followed my mate down the narrow hallway leading to different cell doors on both sides of the corridor.

As we walk, I tried not to make eye contact with the hostages occupying each cell but despite my avoiding them, I couldn’t help sharing eye gaze with some of them.
