Nodding at the guards standing right outside the door, "Cut the branches off his body and make sure he feels their presence as you do so."
They began in cutting the branches from his body roughly leaving him to yelp out in pain. At first, I stayed behind to watch them do this but later decided to leave them to it as this was more than enough to inflict pain on him for the main time.
"Inform me when you are done cutting them off," I told the guards and left them to search for my mate.
I walk to her chambers which I'm considering changing. I intend to get her to move to mine so I can keep her close to me and protect her myself.
