Chapter 339

Tobias was driving, but he paused momentarily. "Did you just say Mom has woken up?"

Joseph's joyful voice came through the phone. "Yeah. The doctor said she made a wonderful recovery. She can have soup and vegetables now. She has no idea I'm making this call. Can you come over here and pay her a visit?"

"We're coming now, Grandpa."

Tobias turned the car around and drove toward the hospital.

They arrived at the hospital and made their way to Fiona's ward. Tobias suddenly stopped in his tracks when he was in front of her ward. There were some inexplicable emotions in his eyes.

Lucy saw it and held his hand. She encouraged him and said, "Don't be nervous, darling. Mom hopes to see you too."

Ever since Tobias knew Fiona was his mother, he had visited her a couple of times when she was still unconscious. He felt guilty every time he looked at her when she was passed out.

Now, Fiona had finally woken up. Tobias was very excited and happy, but he was very nervous at the same time.
