Chapter 267

Billy drove Lucy to the hospital entrance. Both of them didn't know that Joey was tailing them when they went for the check-up. She even took some pictures secretly.

Lucy arrived at the exam room. After she went through a series of blood tests, she gave the check-up report to Billy, who leafed through it and frowned. "Are you sure you're infertile?"

Lucy nodded. "Why, yes."

"That's strange, then. Everything seems normal."

Could it be a misdiagnosis? Billy's eyebrows knitted tightly. "Do you know what you were given?"

Lucy shook her head. "The lady who drugged me ran into an accident and died in prison. If we're going to investigate it…"

All of a sudden, Rosa's image popped into Lucy's mind. Rosa was the one who'd fed her the poison that day.

"I know who I can ask. Go about your day. I'm going to prison for a bit."
