Maya stood at my doorstep, her presence a mystery. I assumed she had come to apologize for her outburst at the hospital. I got discharged from the hospital yesterday and have been in my house since then. My pain has subsided, thanks to my werewolf speed healing power. I rarely have visitors and so, when my doorbell went off at 8:15 pm, I didn't know what to think. I remained seated where I was and waited for the bell to go off again. After few seconds the bell went off again and I began to walk to my door. On the way, a scent wafted into my nose. Anya's coconut oil. Why was Anya at my place at 8:15 on a Saturday night? I ignored the question and walked to the door. Opening it, before me stood Anya and Caleb. Pissed doesn't come close to capturing the look I saw in their eyes. I ignored it, stepped aside for them to come in. Both walked past me without saying a word. Closing the door, I joined them on my couch in my little sitting room.
