Maya stood at my doorstep, her presence a mystery. I assumed she had come to apologize for her outburst at the hospital. I got discharged from the hospital yesterday and have been in my house since then. My pain has subsided, thanks to my werewolf speed healing power. I rarely have visitors and so, when my doorbell went off at 8:15 pm, I didn't know what to think. I remained seated where I was and waited for the bell to go off again. After few seconds the bell went off again and I began to walk to my door. On the way, a scent wafted into my nose. Anya's coconut oil. Why was Anya at my place at 8:15 on a Saturday night? I ignored the question and walked to the door. Opening it, before me stood Anya and Caleb. Pissed doesn't come close to capturing the look I saw in their eyes. I ignored it, stepped aside for them to come in. Both walked past me without saying a word. Closing the door, I joined them on my couch in my little sitting room. Anya adjusted herself and walked past me offering an assuring smile. She walked to Maya, smiled and continued to head out. It was unlike her.
