Woozi's POV
I'll skip saying anything about how grandiose the governor's house is, since I've been in too many places like this. What important is that I came here earlier than the interview's schedule so I could gather information about the drug that was found inside the secret room within Governor's office. I admit that dude to the giant detective's help, my task has lightened. Though, he doesn't know that it's me who'll execute the plan for today.
According from governor's son, all I need is to pick up a book, 90 degrees from the East if you're facing the tinted window. After picking it up, I should put it back diagonally. But before I'll do that, I have to make sure that there's no hidden cameras around. To put my mind on ease, I activated the miniature hidden camera lens finder inside my pocket. This small device will detect both wire and wireless cameras in either offices, home or hotel room.
I pressed the button and the g
Minghao’s POVWhen a talkative person suddenly shut his lips and avoid igniting any conversation, everyone will notice that something is goin' on. Whether the sun rises in the west or the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves, I looked at the HongYoonChoi's second heir through the front mirror while I drive.Jeonghan is staring outside of the car window, not to find out what's outside but to exercise his mind. Regarding to what kind of thoughts he has, I'm not sure. It's not easy to read a guy like him. Mostly he appears like a children book, but rarely he's like Ulysses —a novel written by James Joyce during 1922 and one of the hardest stories to understand. My master tried to talk to him a few minutes ago. But young master Jeonghan always answered with short words like: "No." "I don't know." "Maybe." "Hmmm." "Really?" "We'll see about that."Soon, master Celine realized that he is not
Third Person's POV After the appetizer, the meat was served. Celine drooled at the presence of a prime plus Bone-In Ribeye, CarneVino on her plate. This gigantic bistecca Fiorentina, a Florentine porterhouse, is one of the priciest steak of all, costing $170. Without caring about the price, Jeonghan, Kloper and Almond dig on the meat with satisfied look. "Who cooked this? It's good," Almond asked to her father. "I hired Chef Jayson Hedge tonight. I'm glad that my daughter liked this," Kloper replied. "Jayson Hedge? Isn't he the chef we met at Florentie?" Jeonghan flung a question. "Yup." While the three were busy chatting about the dish and the chef, Celine raised her fork and knife. The meat juices flowed down as she cut it. She couldn't describe the joy and excitement in words, rather it was her expression that screamed: 'Oh my God! Look at this!' When she took the first bite, fireworks boomed in her
"Then get married, as soon as possible," Kloper announced. "Since you two love each other that much, get married. Maybe next month, next week or... tomorrow?" They were invited to this dinner for this. Celine prepared enough by practicing last night. Her original plan composed of this reply:'I think it is still early to talk about marriage. I would love to enjoy my sweet time with your son. Besides, it's not been that long since I found my father and brother. Dad will be sad if I choose to wed rightaway.' But that plan failed without even starting from the top. Witnessing the second leader's sagacity, Celine calculated that saying those might sound like lame excuses. Plus, Jeonghan contributed a lot on this change of course.'Whydid he confess like that?'She complained inwardly. His hand is still wrapping hers, like a blanket in cold night. Jeonghan, who bravely said:'I loveyou'to her, stared s
"You promised to help me with brother and Celine," Almond said as she sat on the edge of the bed while looking at her father. She didn't scream, became aggressive or run away like a kid throwing a tantrum. But the way she crossed her arms and pouted her lips made her looks the same way. "You are so irresponsible, dad," she continued in low voice. "If I am irresponsible, what about you?" Kloper suddenly sat up, like an old handsome zombie while sweeping his hair upward. With wide opened eyes, Almond stared at her father. "H-How..." she stuttered an incomplete question. "I promised to help you, right? So, this is me helping you," Kloper chuckled in clear voice. He's well sobered, far from the image he showed a moment ago. There's no way to sober up a drunk man within a few minutes, and for that, Almond realized that they were scammed. "You're not drunk?!" She yelled. He pressed his index finger to the seam of his lips. "Shsssh. Tone it down. You
Jeonghan'sPOV She thought we will be sleeping in two separate rooms. So when she realized that we will spend the night together in one place... "Let's go home~" Celine murmured while fighting the drowsiness on the bed. She's laying down, eyes closed. Instead of using a pillow, her clutched hands were placed between her cheek and the soft bed sheet; like a baby on big cot. I watched the gentle rising and falling of her chest with a stare that's far from a motherly gaze. "This isn't right. But I'm letting this slide because I'm so sleepy," mumbles which faded along with her soft deep breaths. 'Justhow much she drinks?'I wondered, smiling like an idiot as I kept on gazing. She's worth than billion stars up in the night sky, than the wide blue ocean, than the sweet smell of the falling petals of spring, than the vast lands you'll see from the top of the mountain... Gawking at her is just... just
When I was young, there was a woman who I called "mom." She was so kind and she always spoke gently. Her hazelnut eyes crinkled in delight every time he shouted my name. "Eugene. Eugene." But even though she always calls me'myson',I never felt the affection of a mother from her. They say that a mom's arms are more comforting than anyone else, that she's a home and she has unselfish desire to give before her own. However, the love I received from her was more like a pity. She looked at me as if I'm a merciful character in the movie, like a child who's out of her world. Therefore, a day came when I stopped calling her "mom." One spring day, where buds bloomed into colorful pieces of arts, someone visited our house. It is a familiar looking woman together with a young girl. It was my first time seeing them, yet it didn't feel foreign. Was it because it felt like staring in front of two mirrors? "Go on, Eugene. Greet the
Third Person's POV The three leaders of HongYoonChoi, Joshua, Kloper and Groid took a meeting about the coming paintball competition. They just finished looking at the names of the participants. "So Jack won't participate this year," Kloper shared. "He's the winner last year so he maybe thought it's unfair to participate again," Groid commented. Staying silent at the corner, Joshua once again looked at the papers, on which, he saw his friends’ names. A grin creep out on his lips right then. "Awww, man. It will be more fun to add competent people in the game," Kloper grunted. Groid, while sitting properly unlike Kloper whose feet laid above the table, spoke again, "My son and your son will participate. I think it will be a good game." "I know," Kloper chuckled. "Those kids who never attended this event have finally come to their senses." "It's because Joshua is the new leader," Groid spitted the
"I think you know the reason why I brought Hoshi with me." Minghao and Hoshi are standing in front of Celine's office at her cafe; Minghao at the right side while Hoshi at the left. The room isn't soundproof and Celine let it that way for Minghao to hear everything that is bound to happen. "I heard that he showed his face to you. So, I came to negotiate regarding of that," Jun's voice continued to resonate. It was then when Minghao set his sharply gaze towards the guy beside him, who he realized was the man he had an intense fight at the attempted abduction night. His hand almost reached for his blade, itchy to take his revenge but also has right patience to stop himself from doing something his master's doesn't ask for. And so, he remained moveless at his place after taking an edgy breath. On the other side, Hoshi didn't look back at him for he's contented to see his opponent's glare using his peripheral vision. 'Well, I really did speak ill to h
