Eli POV.

Things are messed up here, really messed up, where do I even start, I was lost, I'm lost in this world, I had no one, I had nothing to me, my whole life is a series of misfortunate events, and now my mate, my own mate is mad at me, how do I tell her I'm no danger to her or anyone else, but me.

I looked at my mate my beautiful mate, I saw the fear in her eyes, I wanted to wipe that look away, to assure her no danger would ever touch her with me around. But Ashlynn doesn't believe that she took a step back away from me, she's hiding from me, it broke my heart seeing her afraid of me, I took a step toward her, but she took one back, for each step I took she took one back, until I got down on my stomach, keeping my head down, I wanted to scream, look I'm safe.

This was the exact reason why I didn't want to show her what I really am, what my wolf is like, I was hunted, and almost killed a couple of times, until I decided to live a life of humans, I stopped showing my wolf form,
