Back at the pack, Veronica was about to be brought before the Alpha and the people who had now heard what happened the previous night, began to gather outside the Alpha's palace to feed their eyes and their ears.

“I heard they found a strange female in Master Steve's house.” A member of the pack, Daisy, whispered to her friend, Rose, who covered her mouth, shocked.
