"Come to Yohana's ward now."

"Ya, bring a change of clothes."

Nightroe's conversation with someone was over, but Svanna felt like she was waiting for the next list of storms. There was so much fear, as if nothing sane could be maintained anymore.

All was lost.

Nightroe only stopped when the man was satisfied, while what she had faced was fear. Irony within irony. All became useless. Nightroe would not understand what it was like to be someone helpless. Hadn't the man's goal from the beginning been more than steady to make her face the traumatic side?

Nightroe succeeded. That man really succeeded. Perhaps the cruel bastard did not seem to realize that he had committed an act of rape instead of treating her as a wife. Never. Svanna was never considered someone who needed to be treated with respect, despite their legal and religious marriage.

It was an illusion that she still craved moments of surprise. More surprises might be waiting. Svanna could not go on li

Svanna walked half reluctantly to the bathroom. Bad thoughts raced through her mind. She felt incredibly empty. Convinced that whatever she did would amount to nothing. It did. Something in her mind tended to take action with some urgency... like taking away real life. All useless. She didn't even prepare anything—or at least strip completely when she wanted to soak. Just turned on the water with a rush, then flopped in there. In the tub that had filled with puddles. Svanna wished she could fade away the details of Nightroe's touch on her body, but every time she tried to get rid of the image of the man's anger, all she felt was a deadly kiss; it burned into the deepest part of her skin.If only Svanna didn't indulge in the curiosity that she had suppressed too much. "Did you find the necklace?" Nightroe's voice boomed with anger the moment he realized something was missing from his pants pocket. Alina could feel the tension in the surroundings change significantly. The woman looked down. Not knowing exactly what kind of necklace he was referring to. She did not see anything. Just some events—these days it felt completely uncharacteristic."No, sir. Alina's tardiness made Nightroe's patience lose its wick to wait any longer. His wide strides immediately pulled him over. The bathroom door was wide open. He crossed the threshold there. However, he was stopped by a shocking sight. The blood on Nightroe's body seemed to have stopped flowing. It took quite a while to understand the situation that was brutally floating. What kind of stupidity was Svanna trying to commit? Damn it!Anxiety immediately sneaked into his mind. Nightroe swooped down to the edge of the bathtub. The faucet had been turned off. Alina obviously did not dare to take too much action, but the woman was right enough to simply not make the water seep more. To hell with it. Nightroe already didn't care about anything. Getting wet; his clothes; everything. He just wanted Svanna to be safe. Immediately brought her out and laid her frail body down on the slippery surface of the bathroom floor. • The Ruthless Mafia   Still Alive

Death was truly something chaotic, shattering a request for life; from the simplest, to the ugliest scroll. If only, she could hope for justice to play more of a role; perhaps her existence here wouldn't end up being such a miserable life plan. Svanna did not say what the first time she realized she was lying in the hospital was. There was no one here. Hoping Nightroe would be willing to wait was the most unbelievable form of wishing. Something in her should have understood... the man would never care. He wouldn't. It just so happened that Nightroe wanted her alive to take more pain. Svanna would try to understand. Slowly, she moved one hand, noticing the IV needle that was immersed in a vein. It felt like an active protest went unsaid; why did that man have to know; why didn't Nightroe come at a later time or wait until she had completely forgotten how to breathe with such high hopes? Svanna deeply regretted that she was still here; saved; then would be stra

  • The Ruthless Mafia   Waiting For Her

Svanna instinctively curled her thin lips; smiling; realizing this would be a good prospect and she wouldn't have to dwell too much on the gap between them. "I know you and your brother's relationship isn't good. It seems like you could start, why did you bring the doctor for him?" "No idea. A brother's instinct, because he solved my problem—perhaps." Again. Orlando's shoulders twitched again. The man looked calm, unconcerned, and tried not to choke on the situation. "Solved your problem?" Svanna underlined the important part. She did not see anything bad happen that day, just someone coming over and Nightroe walking out of the pool. Yeah, that was it. That was it. However, she still wanted to know more. A quick look at Orlando's face simply left the man with no significant reason to hold back in a situation like this. "Yeah, my problem. You know... I'm a mess. I'm the most fucked up in this family. Orlando showed a brief response when he heard the sound of the door opening and someone walking resolutely into the room. He silently grinned sarcastically, still deciding to keep his face down—or rather busy playing with his phone without trying to be distracted. After all, it was highly improbable to have Nightroe show up in this place, but the man was already here.No skeptical talk. Damn it, Orlando was curious about what Nightroe was doing. Immediately stopping any action, he dropped his attention straight to stare at the towering body facing the chest-length shelf there. It was Lili's flower.
