Maya's POV

Last night, while I was trying to get some sleep, Lillian came knocking on my door and when I opened up, I found her holding a basket of fresh fruits.

They looked so juicy, and just when I was about to thank her for bringing them for me, she said, “They are for Luna Anna. She requested them, but Alpha Jasper is now with her, so I can't deliver them.”

“Oh, I see. I will deliver them.” I received the basket from her only to turn around to see her peering at me.

Wondering what the issue was, I stepped out of my chamber and then placed my hand on her shoulder, “Is anything the matter?” I asked.
