Chapter 33

Anna's POV

After Alpha Jasper left my chamber, I continued staring at the door he had walked through as a million ideas fluttered in my head, causing it to ache.

Biting the side of my lips, I tossed my head to the side, my eyes tightly shut, trying to forget about everything that had happened but I couldn't.

Leaning forward and with my hand wrapped across my chest, I made my way towards the bed and then lowered myself on it, my gaze still fixed on the door.

With the way I had spoken to him with disregard, I knew I had crossed my boundary but what is more scary in all these was his silence.

One thing I hated about Alpha Jasper was his silence. He was good at ignoring someone who had hurt him, I'd say, instead of responding to the person, he would be brewing the perfect way to lynch the person.

This was exactly what I thought Alpha Jasper was plotting in his head and it made goose pimples appear on my skin.
