Anna's POV

After my declaration, the expression on everyone's face changed. One after the other, I took in everything until I was done.

Out of everyone, it was only Alpha Noah who wore a disappointed look. My mother looked happy, my father was relieved, and Maya wore a neutral expression.

Shifting my weight from one foot to the other, I awaited who was going to break the silence which was becoming uncomfortable.

“Are you sure of what you are saying?” Mother asked and I nodded.

“Yes, I will return with you,” I affirmed, nodding my head to show I was being sincere with my words.

“Thank you, Anna, thank you so much. You don't have any idea what you have done to me right now.” Mom cried, falling on her knees as she grabbed my hand. Not pleased with the drama she was acting, I tried to pull away but she held on, causing me to sigh.

“Anna, I know you were going to make the right decision. I'm so proud of you right now.” Stepfather said, grinning from side to side.

Any decisions made in anger are normally dumb ones. I understand the guilt, but it seemed she made her choice just to spite Noah.
