Chapter 108

Anna's POV

Now standing in front of the guards who had refused to allow Maya and I to get into our house, I folded my hands across my chest and then let out a deep sigh.

They were guards from the Moonlight Pack and their presence here did nothing but to irk me.

“What do you want from me? Are you here to embarrass me?” I snapped, my eyes darken as I glared angrily at the guards who had their head bowed to the ground as a form of respect.

“Have you all gone mute? I asked a question, why am I not getting a response to it?” I yelled, stamping my feet against the ground as I glared angrily at them.

At this point, Maya had to come in. Holding my shoulder she began to mutter words to calm me down but it didn't work.

The only thing I could think of was that Alpha Jasper had ordered his guards to come drag me back to the pack so I would be a witness to the mating ceremony between him and Selena.
