Lyra hastily took a cab to her workplace to avoid queries from anyone in the Monroe's mansion. She doesn't know if she could tell the Chairman about what she overheard or not.

Her racing heart became normal when she got to the public hospital she worked for. Her fingers shivered as she tried to dial the police's phone number. “Is this the right thing?” she asked herself. She sighed and put her phone in her handbag.

“I shouldn't jump to conclusions yet. Without evidence, I will look like a fool to the world,” Lyra thought. She walked into the office room with her face fixed on the floor.

Her office was a small space with five other nurses. When she walked in, a male nurse reached her.

“Why are you late to work? The Doctor asked about you. You are lucky I covered for you,” Richard whispered. Richard is the only friend Lyra has in the public hospital and he is the only male nurse. The other nurses are nothing but backbitters.
