Chapter 17

Zane was worried sick not knowing where Nazima had gone. The one minute she was there and the next she was not. He looked for her around her new but old home but could not find her anywhere. Zane did not know where else to look for her when Nazima appeared. He sighed in relief and waited for her to get closer.

“Where have you been? I looked for you everywhere and when I could not find you, I was worried.” Zane did not wait for her to say anything before bombarding her with questions. “I went to get some fresh air.” She told him and Zane sighed. “I do not like this tendency of your of just going away on your own. The Mer people are still out there. You might be queen now but that does not mean they have accepted you.” He said with a worried tone.

“I know that Zane, but I am used to how we used to live on land, it will take time for me to get used to this life again.” She missed being on land, now that everything was all right here, she would like to go back and see places properly with
