Nazima spent the following days attending to matters of the kingdom, holding meetings with the generals and changing the laws Caleb put in place. Caleb would be in attendance in those meetings representing the Merpeople but the one thing he wanted the most he could not get. It seemed she was avoiding him and yet he wanted to spend more time with her.

This day Nazima was again buried in work and expecting me meet the generals again that afternoon. She wanted to get as much as she can done before the meeting.
