Miimii’s POV

The complete darkness that had engulfed my mind after my body went limp with the shock it’d experienced began to fade away and give way to light slowly. And as the darkness faded away further, I began to feel my body move to get accustomed to the environment I was in, but to no avail.

I felt the softest silk sheets my skin had ever touched rubbing against my back and the surface I was on felt so comfortable that I could swear it was made from the pure wool of a thousand sheep. I tried to adjust further and rest a bit because my head still hurt a bit from the fall I’d experienced, but the foreign feeling of extreme comfort bugged me more than I thought it would.

In no time I was rubbing my eyes slowly and trying to adjust to the lighting of the room as I opened my eyes gently and eased into it. The first thing I noticed was the strong back of a man that wasn't facing me and how his arms flexed brilliantly as he kind of struggled to fold something.
