“So that's the plan,” I looked around the room waiting for their reactions.

I had gathered Lily, Amari, Margery and of course, Darwin in the meeting room to tell them Dimitri’s plan.

Of course, I omitted the tiny information that it was Dimitri’s plan and that I wanted to visit Silver Streak.

“So to get it straight, you want to fool Lady Lyssandra along with the rest of the kingdom and royal guests into believing you joined with the king,” Amari asked.

“I think it’s genius,” Margery chuckled. “It’ll certainly drive her mad. And yes, power is in perception. If the pack members believe you’re both married Lyssandra loses all credibility,”

My chest lightened up at her words and I turned to Lily.

“Lils,”

It was her wedding too. I needed her permission, I wouldn’t ever want to upstage her on her wedding day.

“I like it. We’ll have to be careful so Freya doesn’t find out. But that aside we should be good,”

Relief flooded me at her reply and I turned to the man of the hour.
