Leah POV

Damian had changed. He had suddenly become an understanding man because tell me why I was standing here in a small spot in the clinic doing a little bit of mixing with the herbs I had brought yet no one cared.

He had actually given me the permission to leave if I was going to get herbs for the pack. It felt like he was suddenly seeing my usefulness. Evelyn had tried to convince me to tell Damian about the attack with the wolf, but I refused.
