Reagan POV

Why the hell did I agree to this?

I should have said no. Anything, just something to avoid being in the same space with her, especially now when she’s all I can think about.

I paced the room, trying to keep my composure. The thought of Andrea confessing her feelings replayed in my mind, keeping me up all night and causing butterflies to flutter in my stomach. I tried to dismiss it as a joke, but the sincerity in her eyes was undeniable.

Glancing at my reflection in the mirror, I caught myself grinning like an idiot. My smile was wide, almost foolish, and I quickly cleared my throat to dispel the expression. I straightened my posture and stared at my reflection, willing myself to maintain control.

"Don’t be a fool, Reagan," I muttered to my reflection, my voice filled with self-reproach. "Andrea doesn’t like you. She’s just trying to mess around, and you can’t let yourself fall for that."

As I entered the room, Andrea was already there. Her hair was gathered in a messy bun,
