MR WILLIAMS’ FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I woke up feeling blank. I had slept late the previous day because I was discussing with my wife. She had advised for me to go to the police station myself so that was the first thing on my to-do list for the day.

“Good morning, husband.” She greeted me as I got out of the bed stretching and yawning. She was already dressed. She sat on the stool before the dressing mirror applying some pressed powder on her face.

“Good morning, wife. Where are you headed to early this morning dressed so gorgeous?” I asked her wondering. She put down the make up products and turned around to face me.

“Today is Doris’ birthday, your daughter’s friend. They are holding a birthday party at their residence. We were invited as a family but I did not bother to tell you about it because I was aware of your packed schedule. I will just go on your behalf.” She explained.
