Ace’s smile widened just like his eyes. It was quite a surprise for him. Seeing Edwin, who was looking manly in his casuals, and the arrangement he had done, stunned Ace.

“Ed!” Ace mumbled his name, smiling. “What are all these?” He asked looking at the set up. The terrace was lightened by candles making the dark night glow. Two chairs were arranged on the either side of a table, on which few bowls and a wine bottle were placed.

“A candlelit dinner. Don’t you like it?”

Ace stepped towards him, a little blushing. He spoke “But we had our dinner many hours back.”

“That’s why I arranged only a few items.” Edwin replied with a small smile on his face.

Ace stood in front of him and placed a gentle kiss on Edwin’s lips while saying “You look handsome.”

“Not more than you.” Edwin replied genuinely.

“Are you really alright?” Edwin asked holding Ace’s hand. Concern was written all over his face. Ace simply nodded his head and forced a smile so that Edwin wouldn’t feel sad or bothered about him. Edwin let out a sigh, speaking “Ace, you... you don’t have to keep everything in your heart. Talk to me, Ace.” Ace let out a nervous chuckle, saying “What? Nothing Ed. Everything is really fine. It’s just that... I still feel hurt because of my father’s rejection. He didn’t talk to me from that day, of course, we barely talked even before this.” “Is this the sole reason? I feel like you are bothering about many things.” When Ace was about to deny, Edwin held his hand, saying “Tell me.” Ace rubbed his forehead with his palm, nervously. He spoke “I... I’m just thinking about the future. I’m thinking of how to face everyone. It kind of... bothers me.” Edwin’s face turned pale hearing him. Not only Ace, but also Edwin always bothered about that. Noticing Edwin’s face, Ace said “See, this
