2024-10-29 19:42:56The first thing Ace saw when he opened his eyes was an angry Jacob. He blinked his eyes before he could adjust his vision to see everything clearly. He was on the hospital bed and his friends; Jacob and Freddie were beside him, looking at him, seriously.
He tried to stand as he needed to see Edwin and find where he was but he was stopped by Freddie. His face turned worried and when he was about to withdrew Freddie’s hold on him, Freddie said “If you are worrying about Edwin then listen to me, he is safe.”
“Where is he?” Ace asked, narrowing his eyebrows.
“In the next room.” Freddie replied with a disappointed face.
“I have to see him.” Ace replied trying to get up from there but Jacob’s shout made him stop in his tracks.
“Freddie said your friend is safe. Didn’t you hear him?” Jacob shouted.
