Chapter Seventy

Magic is an unfair advantage.

“Get out of here!” Rory unleashes his aura onto the girl. She can’t be much older than me, yet she seemed younger. Small in the bones, lack of food, she hasn’t had a good life.

“Rory!” I growl at him from stopping me from attacking her.
