Alex’s pov

"Hey Alex, the love my life. How are you doing? Well you know you’re fine but I want to let you know that I’ve missed you so much.”

I paused and looked at the letter I was writing, I thought about what next to say, and then I took a deep breath and continued writing.

“Staying here has not been easy, I have experienced a lot in the short span of a month but I just got to keep going.

As I grow stronger here day by day, I simply realize how much I need your strength, love and support by my side, i must confess that it has not been easy without you.

Nevertheless,I am learning so much and that’s on period, Alex, but learning without you by my side to tell me congratulations and cheer me up feels so incomplete.

I love you so much Alex, I really do. And I count the moments until I can return home to your arms once more."

I paused again and looked at the letter I had just written, then I took a deep breath and read it out again. I made so changes and corrections and edited the

  • The Rise Of The White Luna    Chapter 1: My mate's rejection (I)

Exalia's POV “Where am I?” I mumbled softly to myself, my eyes darting around, but it was white all around with no human activities detected. It was a strange environment, blank, bare and thoroughly white. My voice echoed after me, and I couldn't help but shrink to a corner, to make my existence less obvious. As usual. “Exalia.” A soft voice rang out, and I hurriedly turned around in surprise. “Who's…" The rest of my statement got stucked in my throat as my gaze fell on a figure, who blended perfectly with the white environment. Her silken robes seemed to glow with a moonlight hue, her figure both graceful and commanding. Her silver hair cascades down in waves, and her eyes gleamed like orbs. She seemed to be stepping on soft cotton, taking a step at a time with unrivalled elegance. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. “Who are you?” I questioned doubtfully, taking two steps at a time backward. From the lessons I learned in my seventeen years of existence, I kne

Exalia's POV “No, you don’t understand. Exalia is too young. I’ve seen her grow up and know her history of being weak; she hasn’t even shifted yet.” Jake’s words pierced my heart, each one a painful stab. “She cannot be my mate, and you know that too well; how could she be my Luna? She is so weak?” His words cut deeper than I had anticipated. Tears streamed down my face as I sobbed uncontrollably, my lip trembling and eyes brimming with tears. “But you know she’s always had feelings for you. Your rejection might break her!” My dad’s frustration was evident. “I’m going to reject her in front of the pack and choose a stronger female as my mate, for the good of the pack,” Jake declared. I buried my face in my hands, my shoulders shaking with sobs. The thought of being rejected twisted my stomach into tight knots. “Gather the pack members; I want this done,” Jake commanded. “Beta Zack, follow the order.” “Yes, Alpha, but you’ll regret this,” my dad said, his voice laced with

Exalia's POV There was a knock, followed by the door opening. Maria walked in with a smug expression. “How does it feel? Don’t worry, I’ll be a good Luna to your mate,” she taunted. She approached me with an exaggerated expression of concern. “What’s wrong, Exalia? Can’t handle being turned down by your mate?” She sneered. Before I could respond, Maria’s eyes flicked toward the door. I saw Alpha Jake approaching. Maria’s face twisted into a cruel grin. “Let’s see who’s more important,” she said with satisfaction. Suddenly, she slammed her head against the door frame, crying out, “Ouch! Ow!” The speed of her actions left me stunned, unable to react. “What happened, Maria?” Alpha Jake rushed to her, entirely ignoring me. “Exalia hit me because you didn’t choose her!” Maria’s voice was filled with false indignation. She pointed at me as she spoke to Jake. He turned to look at me, his brows furrowing in anger. “Jeez, I didn’t do it,” I said weakly. “Shut up, Exalia!” J

Exalia's POV Without a word, I did as she said I only wanted to save my father, my sobs could be heard. She looked at me, “Well, there's going to be an all-alpha meeting tomorrow, so I want to make sure to serve all of them. For now, I'd talk to the alpha, but everything depends on your performance,” “Yes, Maria,” I muttered. “Maria?” She asked. “I meant Luna,” she smiled and gestured for me to leave with her hand. “My father?” I sobbed. “He'd be looked after to do your work,” she said, and after looking at my unconscious father for a while, I left. ~~~~ Walking to my house I stopped by the forest trying to feel my wolf, she could help me right? I believed I had one, but it wasn't clear to me why she didn't show up yet. I closed my eyes, focusing on the forest sounds and the gentle breeze. A strange sensation stirred within me, like a voice whispering. “Try harder, Exalia,” the voice urged me on. I drew a deep breath and concentrated. Pain exploded through my bod

Exalia's POV “No, I didn't!” I screamed on top of my lungs, my eyes feeling achy as hot tears started rolling down. "You were forcing yourself on him, it was so clear,” the lady who I didn't know continued. “Impossible! I would never do such a thing; what would I gain? He tried… he tried…” I failed to explain as I burst into more tears. Immediately, the door slammed open, and five guards stormed into the kitchen. With two pulling my arms, I didn't know how to react; it was happening just too fast. “Exalia! What have you done?” one of them, the pack gamma, asked. “Nothing! I swear! He tried to force himself on me and… and I didn't do anything, just a push!” I cried out as more tears threatened to fall from my eyes. “Don't lie to us! We have the evidence, and there's a witness!” Mike the gamma exclaimed harshly, pointing at the alpha's body and the unknown lady. Hitting his hand on his forehead, which was something he'd always do when angry, he looked at me. “What? No! I

I'd go out on a walk and we'd check out how to get into the pack house,” my voice sounded as I stood up and walked out through the door, as my beta, jace followed behind me.The night was dark and quiet in the territory of the Moon launch Pack. As the fierce and dominant lycan alpha, I prowled through the dense forest, by my guards, and jace. "Alpha, everything seems calm tonight," one of the guards reported, breaking the silence of the night.I scanned the area with my black eyes and nodded in acknowledgment. "Stay vigilant. We have an attack to launch," I replied firmly. Deep down, I longed to rest, but I had to get rid of all the corrupt alpha's and I was going to do just that, I had to uphold my duties. I was known as the most feared alpha, although I didn't see anything scary about myself compared to Peter, my best friend,

Exalia’s pov It had been almost a month and two weeks since I had left my home pack to the Lunari kingdom.Ever since I got there, I had been receiving intensive training and preparations for the coming rituals ceremony that would crown me as the empress of the Lunari and break the tribe from the curse so that they would be finally free. The training with the Lunari was intensive and very very rigorous, each day it was from training to training and excercise to excercise. They made me push to my limits that I never knew I could even get to. I was taught a lot of things, like the ancient art and skill of harnessing lunar energy, I was taught the art of shifting into werewolf form with both grace and power. I was even taught the secretes of lineage and they flowed into me like a river. I was a fast learner and surely I was learning very fast, Eldric had told me that after my training and the rituals have been performed, I was free to go back to my pack provided i come and visit once

Alex’s pov.Marcus described the offensive tactics that our military often employed, he detailed vividly, how we would use our terrain and make use of the popularly used element of surprise, together with the combined valour and might of all our military units. “This is great work you have put up Marcus, I’m proud of you.” I said to him and he smiled and said thanks, and he continued his explanation.“If there is an attack, we would envelope the enemy using Skirmishers to flank them while the vanguard will push forward, this would cause great confusion and allow our military to go ahead and exploit the weaknesses in the enemy formation.”I listened attentively to what Marcus had been saying and I could do was smile in pride at the smartness and strength of my military. In my mind's eye, I pictured everything he was saying. “What if we are caught off guard?” I asked in anticipation, and Marcus had the exact answer.“If we are caught off guard, we would fall back to our strong base dow

  • The Rise Of The White Luna    Chapter 94

Alex’s pov Soon, the meat was on fire and as the aroma of cooking meat started to fill the air, I started feeling a deep sense of contentment and satisfaction. Apparently, this feeling came not just from the hunt or the meal it was going to provide for me, it rather came from the fact that I had renewed my bond with the wild. That was the very essence of being a werewolf and an Alpha for that matter, and I was happy and felt proud of myself. This morning’s feeding was not just my body that I fed,I also fed my spirit. I reconnected with the primal animal instincts, I reconnected with the pack, and most importantly, I reconnected with the land that was ours. This was something I needed to do more often. After breakfast, I commend the cooks for cooking such a beautiful and delicious meal. They blushed and thanked me, with surprise in their faces, it wasn’t all the time I smiled and played with my staff.I walked to the barracks to see what was happening there, a few soldiers were t

Alex’s pov. After taking another bath, I decided to walk out of my room and go outside to take a stroll. It was definitely something I could do, especially as it was still evening. As I stepped outside my room, I bumped into Marcus, and he was just looking at me.His eyes widened slowly and he stared at me in a way that showed surprise. He had definitely seen the change in me ."Wow Alpha, I almost didn’t recognize you, you look... different," he said, still staring at me, his tone a mix of surprise, awe and curiosity.I smiled as I felt the truth of his observations vibrate through my body.“Marcus, I feel so different. I spent time meditating and focused on enhancing every single aspect of what we are, I feel I have awakened something from within.”Marcus looked at me, smiled and nodded, his gaze started to assess, maybe he was even gauging if I was ready for what was to come. "Alpha Alex, Your aura, it's stronger and very much more vibrant than it used to be. I can feel it."“Wel

Alex’s pov.“Okay we’re all going to make this our number one priority, I hope that’s clear?“ I said with a tone of command and they both nodded. “One more thing, while we’re at it, I want you guys to provide me with a list of all the local governments and villages that fall within our kingdom and pack.”“Okay?” Lena said, somewhat surprised that I was making such a request. “I want to make sure that they’re all getting the social amenities that they deserve, no one should suffer from lack or underdevelopment.” As they both went to carry out my instructions, I just sat back on my chair, I looked around at the whole bunch of responsibilities before me, it was definitely not easy being an Alpha. Most people would think it was just an easy task but not until they tried it out. This wasn’t just governance, In Fact it was more than just governance, this was about caring for every single pack member and ensuring that they were comfortable and living the best standard. This was my respo

  • The Rise Of The White Luna    Chapter 91

Alex’s povThe next day, I woke up at the same time with the sun. I was feeling happy and sweet as I had had a wonderful night's rest. The sun’s rays were so sharp and bright that it pierced through the heavy walls and penetrated through the curtains of my chambers. It brought in illumination and a big surge of energy into my room. I felt so happy and alive. Do you know the kind of vigor and joy that comes with knowing you're where you're meant to be, doing what you're meant to do? No, I don’t think anyone knew that feeling except me. I stretched my arms and then after a few seconds, I made my way to the balcony. This was my special balcony and it was located at the topmost floor of the palace, just close to my room. The cool morning air was so refreshing and cold and for a moment, I thought I would catch a cold. From the balcony high above, I looked down below at the pack, to the beautiful sight of our kingdom. The site was so magnificent and beautiful and the grass stretch
