Lenora's POV

The guards didn't say a word as they led me out of the pack grounds. My mind felt blank, like it had shut off completely, and my body just moved on its own, like it knew what to do even when I didn’t. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. After everything I'd been through, after everything I'd tried to do, to make things right, it had all come crashing down.

I glanced back at the pack house one last time, my heart aching. This had been my home, my sanctuary. And now, it is gone. I had no one. No pack. No family. No Zade.

The guards finally released me, their expression unreadable. They didn’t say goodbye. They just turned and walked away, leaving me standing there, alone. I didn't know where to go. I didn't know what to do. But all I knew was that I had lost everything. I needed no soothsayer to tell me that. I lost everything and it was all because of Axel. Because of me.
