“Guys, I won't miss a chance like this,” I told Tim and the rest of the team.

“You will not get out of his office in time,” Tim warned.

“I'll improvise,” I said, staring at the screen where the downloading was almost over.

“He's heading to the office,” Tim informed.

I turned off the computer and hit the button under the drawer to hide the monitor and keyboard back in the desk chambers.

“He passed the glass doors.”

I straightened up in the seat and sucked in a ragged breath. The door opened. Callan entered the office and halted in utter shock as he saw me sitting behind his desk. I placed my hands on the chair's armrests and plastered the mask of untainted composure. Then I met his gaze.

“Lilly?” he strained through his teeth. “Mind telling me what the fuck are you doing in my office?”
