Cecilia picked up the call and asked calmly, "Did something happen?"

Susan answered swiftly, "Ms. Samford, Mr. Jardin was injured! I saw Mr. Jardin being carried out of the hotel room by a paramedic. He was covered in blood and had a dagger in his chest. He doesn't look well. Mrs. Jardin also seems to have escaped.

"Ms. Samford, do we call the cops now? But Kevin has withheld all information regarding the news and is forbidding any leaks," Susan continued.

"What did you say? Madelyn dared hurt him? Which hospital is he in right now?" Cecilia asked with a menacing look.

Susan told her, "The Community Hospital. The same hospital you are in."
