Kaden's POV:

My body shook uncontrollably with a feeling I couldn’t quite explain. Fear, that was all I could feel. It traveled down my spine and made my body vibrate until I couldn’t feel my legs.

For a moment, I almost thought I’d died but then the only thing that reminded me that I was still alive was that my heart was beating really fast.

With shaky legs, I walked down to where my bodyguard was. His face was without any emotion and I signaled to him that we should continue moving… at least, he should show me the reason he had screamed.
