In this world, Adrian had only Lexie and Eloise as his remaining loved ones. Since he did not originate from this world, he felt no true sense of belonging here and only wished to leave.

He was incredibly curious about this world. Coming from Earth, he wondered if this world was like Earth—a spherical planet—or just a plane. He had yet to resolve this mystery.

The laws of any world were universal. Earth had taken a technological path, which made Adrian wonder if there were immortals on Earth as well. He had heard of spiritualists before but didn’t know if they were real, so he yearned to find out.
